Cryptocurrencies and fiats will coexist instead of replacing what is vital to the economy. Most of fiats are national currencies, it represent a nation's identity like their flag so it is impossible for the cryptocurrencies to replace fiats. To replace a fiat currency means removing one of their national symbol that made them a nation. But I believe that cryptocurrencies can exist and use side by side with these currencies of the nations.

I don't think we can totally eliminate fiat. I mean fiat has been in the economy as long as economy itself. We can definitely see crypto currency and fiat doing something in parallel to each other but saying crypto currency will replace fiat is an absolute long shot. Then again we won't know what will happen in the future.

The cryptocurrency will never replace the fiat currency!
The government is responsible for one economy, and cryptocurrency is this tool!
It can only be a good complement to legal tender, because no organization can compare with the government!
