The economy or anything never grows forever. It may crash one day then will rise the other. Remember we have such words as recession and depression, those words describe a weak economy. It will rise and fall as companies rise and fall and not just fly high forever. Besides, if the economy continually grow then we don't need speculations, we are sure about money.

Although it is not developed forever, it will always go up. The world's economy has grown from an agricultural economy to an industrial one, and at the present time, I see it is transforming itself into a technology economy. So I think that the economy is always positive.

Of course not, the economy is not even growing right now, if you think the stock market is growing that is only because all the governments of the world have been printing money like crazy since the last economic crisis and we are coming to the point that the population is feeling those changes, to give you an example the price of almost everything has doubled in my country and despite this the government claims there was only a 3% inflation per year which is ridiculous.

Well, for me the advancement of the technology will continue forever if and only if people will know their limitations and handle it with care.  We must also consider natural resources, it's the main source of economy to survive. 

Yeah it will grow forever. I remember the life standard of many people which was every worst but know they are living a happy life although their daily expenses are more than the previous one. It means that economy is growing and now people are earning good profit from every sector of life. The world economy is growing, only wars can stop this progress.

The growth of economy is preconditioned by the limited number of energy carriers that will eventually come to an end in the nearest hundred or so years.
Alternative sources of energy and colonizing other planets can be the only way out of the situation.
After that the whole structure of economy will have to be revised with oil & gas being excluded from the general trend.
I just wonder what will happen to the states whose economy is based solely on extracting and selling the basic natural resources..?
Will they be able to adapt to the new reality..?
