Also BTC will die when we all decide to HODL. I think we can at the same time SELL and BUY to keep our greatest cryptocurrency alive. The answer is simple, if everyone will only hold bitcoin and do not trade it it will cause the overall losing of demand of Bitcoin on the Market and we will see the slight fall of the price, right to the point of 0.

Market need activity buy and sell for market demand. If market don't have activity, i think bitcoin price will be stable. So i think we don't just hold but we need trading too.

Wow that is really great man. Actually i never think this before. I am also holding the coin and advice others to hold. But my doubt is no one is willing to sell their coins for a loss. So the solution is, if some one earned small profit, they could sell that.

Its actually very difficult to explain because if everyone hold and no one sell their BITCOIN then may be the bitcoin currency go more done by its value and it lead to vanish of this market.I think people have to continue the same process of buying and selling as they used to do in past when the price of bitcoin is high may be when people start doing this the price of bitcoin will rise again and the market situation of the bitcoin come on the right track.

When no one sells Bitcoin but HODL of course bitcoin will not be enough to trade. That would probably the main reason i guess for the tokens that are not been rising because many are holding it. Very true. If you visit the currency exchange section here in bitcointalk , you will find people selling their crypto for PayPal even in current conditions.

Similarly, some are selling btc for other coins. Some people might be having the need and requirement for a particular coin like eth. This may be because the seller they are dealing with is asking for payment in that particular coin.

But mostly traders buy coins for a hold and specially i see all traders prefer hold coins for a long time, at least 1 to 2 years, and i think it is wise decision, we could earn from coins. It is not possible that we buy coins in a day and the next day we get huge profit.  OP argument is totally out of question because bitcoin is a currency and it cannot be a case where everyone holds and no one willing to Sell. This is practically not applicable.

When no one sell the coin and hold it then the demand increase because people are investing and willing to purchasing it then the demand is increase which can cause the unexpected increase in the price of anything.
