You should really try to understand the rules before you make a bid!
The two highest bidders will both will have to pay the amount that they bid.

From your wiki link:

Quote

The setup involves an auctioneer who volunteers to auction-off a dollar bill with the following rule: the bill goes to the winner; however, the two highest bidders must pay the highest amount they bid. The winner can get a dollar for mere five cents, but only if no one else enters into the bidding war. The second-highest bidder is the biggest loser by paying the top amount he/she bid without getting anything back. The game begins with one of the players bidding 5 cents (the minimum), hoping to make a 95 cent profit. He can be outbid by another player bidding 10 cents, as a 90 cent profit is still desirable. Similarly, another bidder may bid 15 cents, making an 85 cent profit. Meanwhile, the second bidder may attempt to convert his loss of 10 cents into a gain of 80 cents by bidding 20 cents, and so on. Every player has a choice of either paying for nothing or bidding five cents more on the dollar. Any bid beyond the value of a dollar, is a loss for all bidders alike. Only the auctioneer gets to profit in the end.[1]

This game can be beaten only if the game players are irrational.

with your added rule, NOBODY, rational or irrational, can beat it.
Without the added rule it could had been interesting, like this u're just asking for money

Afterwards you will receive the price money, but only if you remain the highest bidder!

why would I pay 0.1 to receive 0.1?
This will only be doable with escrow!

Otherwise it's a scam!

and i doubt anyone else will bid 0.11 to receive 0.1!

The other bidder will currently loose 0.02.
If he bids 0.11, he will possibly only loose 0.11 -0.1 = 0.01.
You still give him an incentive to bid!

Furthermore; this forum allows sock puppets, meaning the OP can bid with a second account!

So now we wait for the sock puppet!

well I didn't want to lose anything Smiley

But this can go on longer than the OP can live! Smiley

so he might just get nothing! Smiley

And what makes you think that if the owner is making another account will stop me from making 5 more accounts and bid with all of them every 23 hours?

And to make it more interesting I currently own over 1200 IP's

so one bid from every IP will make this bid last 27600 hours witch means 1150 days witch is a little over 3 years!
