Ken, are the chips you are using ours? it's a simple yes/no question, that we shouldn't even have to keep asking you for. It should have been all laid out in your announcement. Why do you keep avoiding it?

Ken,

Please either spill the beans, or explain why you can not spill the beans.

We are on your side and genuinely want to do everything we can to help.

Shareholders absolutely deserve an answer here.

Regardless of the answer and circumstances, as long as you are up front, we can & will do everything we can to help out.

I know you get a lot of flak, but the trolls are gone, so there is no concern there and we can manage it.

I remember when, during the initial IPO, you were in a corner and you held out your hand to the shareholders who answered.

Within a couple of days, it seemed things were sorted.

All I'm saying is, we are here for you now, more than we've ever been.  Just say the word and it will happen.

Message to ActM pseudo-mods;

DeadwoodDan has pm'd me thinking that I exclusively moderate this thread and asked that he's given a break.

Please allow him his voice.  I think we may have mistakenly tarred him with the wrong brush.

Guys come on.  They aren't our chips.  He canceled the 28nm and 55nm chips.  The only one that could have been released by now would have been the 55nm and he told the media (and not us) that this was canceled.  The real question is whether these boards are custom or he's just reselling someone else's miners.  The chips are someone else's.

He also said the plan isn't to solo mine until there is significant hardware in play to make that worthwhile.  I wouldn't worry about it anyway.  Does anyone really think Ken can setup solo-mining?  Eligius is a good idea.

And he's already said that you won't get shares until Colored Coins and he talks to his lawyer.  And by the sound of things, he does not have the tender list from Bitfunder.  So he needs people to take screenshots from BF to prove their ownership of X number of shares.

Yeah, but can he keep things going with other people's hardware?  That's the question.  And for how long?  Seems like he's looked for an interim.  Let's hope that he's still got the resources to develop his own chip otherwise we are totally sunk.  Divs won't see our pockets but will fuel a dwindling ship for a period while we kiss goodbye to our grandchildrens inheritance and watch the bow sink below the waves.

Everybody who is concerned should log on to bitfunder.com and check their transaction history.  I know the website wasn't allowing logins a few weeks ago but now it does.  Go login and take a screenshot of your transfer to AMC-TENDER.  Might as well take any other screenies you may need now too.

Screenshots likely wont help you.  You need to be able to sign the address associated with your bitfunder account to prove ownership.  This is assuming we ever get our shares back.

The screenshot will help verify, as Ken has stated multiple times.  I can also sign from that address...as most should be able to do as well...

Of course they are not. How could they possibly be so? The 55nm chips were cancelled and the the 28nm design hasn't even taped out if it's even being worked on. Now stop asking this silly question. The chips are HashFast's.

My first ever post on bitcointalk..." I am literally tired now " .

I placed an order on VMC for a Fast-Hash ONE Platinum 1.536TH-1,400 Watts .
My wire transfer payment was accepted on 2013-10-10 05:31:44 .

I then place an order for Smart-Hash™ Slide Rails .
My BTC payment through mt.gox was accepted on 2013-11-26 08:11:10 .
And was delivered on 2013-11-26 08:11:10 .

I have been waiting for my hardware since 5+ months and have been pulling my hair out starring those blank slide rails since 4+ months .

I have been very carefully reading almost every comment on the previous and this thread since January , and i am tired now .

I don't give a fuck about how much money i paid to VMC , i never asked for a refund or said anything or sent a message to ken .

I am tired going through this shit with every company i invested in , either its HashFast or VMC or BlackArrow or Alpha-t .

According to me the only successful company in this crypto bizz is KnC miner , i only have jupiters running in my data centre and nothing else and have a lot of Neptunes pre ordered and just placed orders for a lot of Titans as well . I keep posting on KnC blog , cause there we can actually talk about real miners and stuff .

I think Ken is not at fault with the failure so far . After reading the whole previous thread and this one , i think people here fuked Ken hard time since the start , sueing him and stuff makes it harder for him to work , and Ken might be so fuked up in head after reading so much senseless crap about himself . Guys its really not just the Crypto Industry , where all this is happening , The same shit is happening all over the world with all kind of things . I have pre-orders on a lot geek items i funded through Kickstarter or indigogo , I have not even received any one of them , weather its the GlassUP or the Ubuntu Edge phone .

Creating a technology takes time and a lot of work , and its not ken's fault , these things can only be estimated , and can never be sure , One might have everything in hand to create a miner , but if the fabed out chips even have 1-2% error , it can ruin the hashing power and it might not even hash at all . Same thing happened with Hash Fast , their first chips were 400GH/s , but the new ones are 700GH/s . Almost double , and all because of minor errors .

I can just ask Ken here , if he's reading this , all the best buddy , Ill be waiting for my miner , if not i really don't care about 9,000 USD i paid . If those miners ever get built , just ship them man , I am really tired now , and can't keep tracking the same thing every day . Its been 5 months , i would like to forget this whole VMC chapter and move on to other things in life . Its literally bad for health for i guess everyone on this thread , its depressing and monotonous waiting for a " HOPE TUESDAY " , every week .

Cheers!!

BItcoins flowing into your mining address wasn't the main purpose. Having your own chips and selling them was!

hashrate is not proof of much if anything. You already owned >700Gh of avalon gear for months now. Even adding 25TH to this is meaningless if you are just buying antminers or some other market-value hardware.

before I continue, what is 'MSD'? http://www.acronymfinder.com/Business/MSD.html  and  http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/MSD indicates the best fit is 'Manufacturing System Design'.

1) Manufacturing System Design - how would giving details or a photo be prevented by this?
2) Competition - b*llshit. What will happen, the competition will see your hardware and magically replicate the PCB?  There are a dozen other hardware designs that are visible online or available for purchase right now (or were sold already) that would be better suited to being copied. You have no reason to be silent due to 'competition'.
3) Trolls - This is not a reason. How would actually explaining what's going on feed the trolls? The trolls are fed by your lack of any real, transparent information.

My point is, I see no reason why you can not or should not 'spill the beans'. You are not 'spilling the beans' by telling the people who gave you money and trust what you are doing with said money and trust after 9 months?  The only thing you have demonstrated is that you can point a few bitcoins worth of equipment at a BTCguild pool where almost noone can view the stats or detailed information.

The 'demands' of people int he thread are 100% within reason:

1) use eligius. The pool is better in many ways than BTCGuild, the #1 being that the stats are visible to anyone who know the mining address. It also means that the hashrate is 100% going to a fixed address.
2) explain the delay on shares. Are you witing for coloured coins, and do you actually own a list of all the shareholders and assets
3) what hardware are you buying/using? Right now, it seems pretty clear that the chips are not an ACTM design, and most likely bought from an aforementioned 'competition'
