South Korea is quite proactive towards bitcoin and blockchain technology. Regulation will help exchanges keep the safety of their customers' funds on top of their proiorities.

if the koreans already have a high knowledge in cryptocurrencies I think they are the ones that have more weight in the bitcoin community since they have bought a lot of them and it is good that the government is being more permissive when opening the market to its citizens no doubt this will have a good rebound in the prices of bitcoin and more dynamic adoption of the Asian market

This is a great news for all Bitcoin investors, this move Korean will be a welcome to all the crypto investors, the will feel safe investing on Bitcoin, i am optimistic that more will follow on Welcoming Bitcoin transaction in their respected country. Slowly they are easing out the tension on Bitcoin Investment.

Cryptocurrency and blockchain technology is on the rise now. I like the approach South Korea is taken to regulate the use of bitcoin, am sure very soon many countries shall support bitcoin and all other Cryptos.

I know South Korea will never oppose bitcoin and altcoins whatever happen. They are the top traders in this market so it would be a huge loss to our community if they will leave. South Koreans always like to be in the trend so they won't let this opportunity to be squandered just like that.

The South Korea taking their move on regulating Bitcoin.

The government’s stance and actions thus far indicate an interest in encouraging blockchain technology and the growth of cryptocurrencies, but not at the expense of safety and security. Stated one trade ministry official:

"Any major reversal in policies is unlikely, but the government seems to believe a gradual shift in attitude toward crypto-based assets is needed. What regulators should do is figure out how to regulate them properly and prudently as Korea needs to put more emphasis on blockchain technology after obtaining knowhow and understanding of the possible flipside of cryptocurrency trading."

That really is a very good news. Many countries around the world are attaching great importance to cooperating with some altcoins in the Crypto market and accepting its appearance in their country. This is a sign that Cryptocurrency is a very potential market and it will grow strongly in the future.
With time, bitcoin will grow and become popular among the people, maybe now South Korea supports crypto currency but I'm confident in the future there will be more countries supporting this crypto currency because of its better potential

Well this is after releasing regulations in icos and i think other countries banning cryto should look into regulating rather than an actual ban. The positive effects of crypto in the long run would definitely benefit any nation given the proper rules and regulations.

Woww..at long last South Korea is going back on its strict decisions. I am glad they have now opened their eyes to the huge potential such a powerful country like themselves can gain from the investment and activities of the blockchain technology and cyrptocurrencies.

I agree, countries that are banned from bitcoin and crypto certainly have to think again because the benefits of bitcoin outweigh the risks, as long as there are clear rules then bitcoin can certainly be beneficial for everyone.

Achievement for bitcoin as South Korea recognized bitcoin as asset.

Hoping that other country will follow. Germany had recognized bitcoin as legal tender. I just don't understand why other countries ban bitcoin.

A good news for many people in BTC not only for Koreans. Seems that the Korean Government look at to the benefits gained by their people to the bitcoin rather than to the risks   or negative effect it has since it has a clear rules about it. Sadly to those countries who banned it. It seen as they lost some opportunities for their developement.Hoping that they would change their decision after on what happens in Korea. Hi China Smiley

South Korea is Asia's strongest economy and even the world, of course this is good news, hopefully having an impact for the long term and becoming the beginning of the increase in bitcoin prices, and at the end of the year it can reach at least $ 25k.
