Any updates on this coin? Seemed it hit the 1st exchange and got no traction at all, pretty disappointing after mining this one for a couple weeks ???
yes, that's kind of the current situation. Same disappointment over here... :(
The original "dev" seems to have given us heaps of B/S when it came to his "plans" for Wampumcoin with First Nation reservation stores, sending out "his reps" to make all this happen etc. In reality, the old "dev" seems to have only started the coin and then sold out, let's call it "Pump & Ditch" or "build, pump & then dump". Also, orig "dev" apparently screwed things up with everyone around him, including new people behind WAM now, leaving nothing but broken biz relations and problems behind. Once they sort out their troubles with the pool operator, the new developers plan on rebuilding Wampumcoin and go from there.
I'll keep on mining with some limited hashing power in order to see what happens.
WAM still has its potential, needs to be built and get some kind of a real economy around it (those Reservation stores were exactly that, maybe this can still be done, or other similar uses can be added). When any of those happen, this coin can still be very interesting!
