Your account will be safe if you locked from your previous email.But there were lots of locked accounts were still not recovered even after providing the necessary message.So now you need to wait for few weeks or months to get it back.

Your account will be safe if you locked from your previous email.But there were lots of locked accounts were still not recovered even after providing the necessary message.So now you need to wait for few weeks or months to get it back.

That's the thing I'm also wondering.

Actually I'm wondering about two things now.

1. As you said, just hoping to get my account back as soon as possible. I hope Theymos & Cyrus will be kind enough to hand over my account to me fast. I know they are very busy.

2. I requested DT members to provide negative rating and keep it until I recover my account. But I've seen someone who is not DT has provided negative rating. So wondering what will happen if any day I get my account back and that member went inactive.

I don't think this address will be accepted. The post made on June 26, 2018 which is very recent plus if you are the hacker (I hope you are not) then you can easily change the address and sign the message. You will need an address which you have staked on Stake your Bitcoin address here topic and which is quoted by someone else¹. If you do not have one on that topic then your chances are very poor.

You can also try with an address which was posted long ago and quoted by someone else. Anything that can easily be changed from the account will not be accepted for security.

PS: The address you have singed can not be verified. You may consider posting a sing message in between the [code][/code] tag.

The address I used to sign the msg is my vanity address and I have still access to it. How can the hacker sign a msg from that address when I still have access to it?
The hacker only hacked my bitcointalk account, not my addresses nor my gmail account which was associated with the account. I still have access to both gmail account and my addresses.

I haven't staked any address to that thread. I thought that it is unnecessary because I have used my addresses in several posts in the past.

I have enough evidence to provide in order to recover my account if Theymos or Cyrus asks me to provide.
For example, I can send an email from my main gmail account which was associated with the account.
For example, my brother can confirm my account is hacked.
For example, Darkstar can help - few days ago I hosted Clash Royale tournament and DS can verify by joining the clan where I organized the tournament.

There's no need for red trust if the account has been locked already. Unless you want it as a warning to others, so I'll do it anyway.

The poor hacker hasn't got much time to do anything with my account most probably.

As I was sitting in front of my pc when he hacked my account because I locked the account right away without wasting a single second, the moment I received an email notification that my email id & password has been changed.

The last post is mine, so it indicates that the hacker is unsuccessful. Moreover, my address is still attached to my profile.

After hacking my account, the hacker changed my default trust setting. This is the only thing he/she was able to do before I locked my account.

Anyway, pray for me so that Theymos or Cyrus hand over my account as fast as possible.

Hope you will recoverit back soon,but only the admins can unlock your account they were much busier in the daily life I think because lot of people were still saying that they are waiting to get back their locked account even after 6 months.

So what will be the solution for this?

I think admin need to allocate a separate staffs for recovering the hacked accounts.

Now you have mentioned 6 months and I have to edit that post to 1000s times upset then.

So what will be the solution for this?

Only God can do some miracle I think and do some magic on Cyrus so that he recover my account fast.

I'm managing a bounty campaign currently and I'm facing difficulties after my account hacked.

I need to edit the OP... 

I would like to know, is it possible if I send a PM to Theymos now to look the case before the 2 weeks time frame ends? On 24th July the two weeks timeframe will end. Most importantly how seriously Theymos will react in this case.

The situation for me will become worse I think if it really takes over a month to get back my account. Any suggestion?
