ICO : ZantePay

ANN : https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=3338217

BOUNTY : https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=3338226.0

Website : https://zantepay.com/

At first i was suspicious about this one because it looked alot like Hashcard ico that turned out to be a scam and lets see what i found about this one

Lets start with the whitepaper because it's definitely the easiest part of starting an ico but then again most icos even mess that up and...

Yes, 38% of whitepaper is a simple copy-paste of "CryptoPay" ICO

And even there was another website that some content was copied from there:

Just some examples of copied contents from CryptoPay whitepaper:

And for the next part i looked for any information on the CEO and Founder Mardo Soo and there's actually news about him but just not a good one

http://www.wjhg.com/home/headlines/Second-Arrest-Made-for-Violation-of-Peddlers-Ordinance-219608231.html

"The Bay County Sheriff’s Office has arrested a second individual for violation of a Bay County Ordinance regarding the Peddlers Permit.

Around eight Tuesday night, the BCSO was called to a home on Yellow Bluff Road in Panama City in reference to a suspicious person.

The resident was complaining about a young man who was at her door attempting to sell children’s books.

The woman stated he had come to her door the day before and she had told him not to return.

Contact was made with the man Mardo Soo on Tracy Drive, a few blocks from Yellow Bluff Road.

The Deputy recognized Soo as the same man he had spoken with about the peddler’s ordinance just a few hours before at 5:30 p.m.

At that time, a resident of a home on Pacesetter Road had complained that Soo came to the house, opened a storm door to knock on the door to the home and then stood outside yelling until the homeowner answered the door.

The deputy had explained the guidelines of the permit to Soo, stressing the fact that, according to the ordinance, he would have to stop approaching homes thirty minutes before sundown.

Soo was found in violation of the Bay County Peddlers Permit Ordinance and was arrested and taken to the Bay County Jail."

I didn't go any further since these are more than enough to consider this a obvious scam

First of all, I don't know how many times that this idea of a crypto based card has been ICO'd. It's become repetitive, and pretty much even if they don't pull off a scam straight away, I don't see any reason to invest in such projects.

Secondly, if you go to their site and see what their official exchanges are, you'll find that most are decentralised or p2p exchanges that doesn't require any form of agreement between the developers and the exchange for people to start trading Zantecoin tokens. It's like saying that the official exchange of this project is Localbitcoins, see how absurd that sounds. They're just trying to make themselves seem more legit.

Copying content from an ICO that essentially has the same business model is not only scammy, but also completely unethical if not breaching copyright laws. Good finds, OP. Avoid this project at all costs.

Great to see someone else spot this obvious blatant scam.

Their wonderful offering of $0.29 per token ICO price has turned into $0.014 on 3rd day of trading on hotbit.io

The team is selling their bags to idiots most probably, dumping the price down 95% from ICO price.

Who on earth would buy this worthless piece of shit of an ERC 20 token LOL
