Exchange coin is a good investment because exchange will always be needed in cryptocurrencies space.
The problem is not all exchange can compete well. That's because the competition is intense. Take a look at bittrex, it's now out of 10th biggest volume exchange. Do note that all exchanges coin exist only in their platform.
So, I did a research on exchange coins.

BTS, HT, KCS, KNC, BIX seems to copy BNB strategy: buyback coin and discount fee and some other feature.
TIO is different.
First, it hasn't launch their exchange. In fact, the official launch date was announced during bloomberg event: the future of cryptocurrencies, which is 17th July 2018.
