It's just an idea so far but very appealing for several reasons. Would the community like to have a poll related to it?

The PoS feature would add potential value immediately as an investment, and I do think that is a good idea, and actually rather exciting if it is even feasible to accomplish. I think the community would take notice because it would demonstrate the robust flexibility & dynamics of the technology... The fact that a coin may have a technical flaw, and it's underlying technology could actually be 'significantly modified', to fix bugs, to add value, even to address socio-economic issues. The fact that PoW coins such as bitcoin consume so much more energy, and aren't very 'green', is a big reason why PoS coins were invented. Switching the code base would be totally un-precedented. It could get a lot of attention, and I bet others would follow.
While this could pave the way for unprecedented turn-around for a coin, for PND to have any chance at a re-boot, it also needs a 1-2 punch... more than a tech-overhaul. It needs a new purpose, and something for the community to get behind. There is a lot of stigma attached to Wolong and PANDA that needs to be shed. I don't know if the devs had any other plans for the coin other than revenge, but now is the time to re-think this and determine a future roadmap for this coin. The goal should not be to create temporary volume so all the bag holders can get out, but encourage those with coins to HOLD them, to USE them for something.
