The Devs steps to screw over flappycoin supports/investors/miners:

1. Launch coin with no premine
2. devs active for a short time
3. devs stop communicating with community
4. coin loses value
5. investors dump their coin for nothing
6. devs quietly buy up all the 'free' coins
7. community wants change and fork
8. devs spontaneously become active and briefly say no
7. devs plan a huge pump and dump
8. investors/miners/supports lose big

Thoughts?

Then don´t dump your coins for nothing.
I will rather get down with the ship than selling under the price i bought them.

I am wondering why you people still care about FLAP?

If you have a lot of them - I do understand, but no other reason I will understand.

This coin was nice, but early stages need a developers to deal with probs...

what we are going to do:

1. follow the new devs, and forgo the old one
2. ask exchanges/pools to switch according to new devs' guidance
3. start new thread about flapcoin.com and let this disappear
4. update all info on flapcoin.com

I am with new dev and let's start new journey.

Waiting for official announcement from new devs.

if you guys go through with this, please make sure you tell everyone with a good amount of lead time what they need to do in order to avoid losing coins. Like especially related to the fork - I would give people at least 3-5 days of final warning before actually implementing it to make sure everyone gets on the new wallet.

We don't want to do rebranding. It's an easy fix, just a bunch of edits and redesigning the coin.

However if you are truly back, this may work for both of us. After rethinking and discussing with others if you truly want to discuss the future of the coin today or tomorrow it will work with us.

However some things need to be done:

* It is not fair to request/demand the release of all FlappyCoin domains and other stuff like that. However if willing to work at the least access is needed to make this as easy as possible.

* We can discuss changes to coin community wants and what we did so far.

* Discuss terms for a "Takeover" simply enough you'll introduce a new "team" or partnership. However you want to spin it yourself while retaining overall control of what you already have done yourself. For example I am sure you are a great dev, why not focus on the website, compiling, working with developers to better the community as a whole.

* An apology is embarrassing and while we want one, we'll forgo that formality. But what we NEED to work together. This is crucial.

I post this as a last ditch effort to make this as smooth as possible on both of us before the hard forking occurs on the 18th.

Please contact us, and we can work out a plan, work together and get everything up and running.

If you'd like to even update the source earlier, we can discuss changed made.

We forked the source code below on GitHub, implemented KGW Exploit Fix, changed coin dynamics payout to a Soft Cap at this time producing a max of around 50 billion coins over 3 years and dramatically changed coin pay out.

We also have TipBot and possible FlappyAPI ready now. We we're going to hold those things back for after the hard fork or during the hard fork... But after reconsidering and talking if you truly are back and wanting to help please contact us sooner than later.

Thank you,

Is this is response to some kind of communication that you had with the original dev?

Is this is response to some kind of communication that you had with the original dev?

The original dev made the following 3 comments today on Reddit:

"New devs are working on that, don't worry"
"New dev is working on that, don't worry."
"Sure, but I'm little bit busy these days, let's find something that I can help."

Okay thank you, I think it will be clearer now to anyone who reads this thread. Seems like a partnership with the original dev and some new devs would be a good compromise for everyone... maybe he just bit off more than he could chew when he created the coin. It would be good for continuity if the new incarnation of the coin could use the original URL and logo and such.

Will people on cryptsy lose their coins because they cannot withdraw them the last time I looked. They bought in on BTC and not LTC so they were already screwed once at that price. If they were to lose their already overpriced coins I am sure there would be a lot of flapping about and maybe even a flappy class action?

I withdrew my ~3 million flaps from Cryptsy just earlier today.

Can someone please confirm what the situation is now?

1. Are the new devs working with old devs
2. What date the fork will be
3. Is there any risk of loss of coins during the fork
4. Will flappy blockchain still work after fork

thanks

Hi-which site did you get the wallet from? There is a new FLAP site up.What if you withdraw to the old wallet and there are issues transferring back to exchange. Can anyone advise where to get the new wallet from or is it safe to leave FLAP on the exchange..Will it not return to normal once fork has happened??

I am new to crypto and only am familiar with forex. This whole wallet thing is getting confusing when there is another flappy coin site up now.Why cant the coins be left on the exchange??...thanks

A full explanation of what's going on needs to be provided soon - not trying to be a dick here but the #1 complaint everyone seems to have about the old dev/s is that too much time kept going by without hearing from them. If you are going to fix this coin do it now, make an announcement and act - it has been days already since this was announced and it doesn't seem anything is firm yet. If you want people to back you, you need to show that you are going to be decisive.

Cryptsy... please move FLAP to LTC market!

Cryptsy added FLAP/BTC market on March 7 and a few days later the coin's value fell to levels only the LTC market can support... but now over a month later they haven't moved FLAP to LTC market... I just don't get it!

Self quote...
buy orders are at 87.68 BTC total across all 4 exchanges that we're listed... be grateful that you didn't buy into something stupid like RBBT or BEE which have 0 buy orders!

Cryptsy just added RBBT/LTC market. RBBT (RabbitCoin) is another coin abandoned by it's dev team. The coin tripled in value in 1 day. There's now 400 LTC buy demand for the coin on Cryptsy alone. Compare that to the 50 LTC buy demand for FLAP on both Allcoin and Poloniex combined.

Cryptsy added BAT/BTC market on March 29 and a week later (April 6) they announced closure of that market and move to BAT/LTC... yet the coin has 5x the trade volume of FLAP... I just don't get it!
