By saying feathercoin is dead, in effect, you are increasing its popularity.

Which is the ironic part  Roll Eyes

It's called the Streisand Effect.  Smiley

1. Instamine - We'll address the 'Litecoin didn't mine that heavy day 1 ' *cough* no GPU miner *cough*

Is it necessary to attack other coins or is it that you offer nothing and it's the only way to attempt a promotion?

Take the high road and avoid the negative. If you truly have innovation let that speak.

A really good post and informational set of YT Vids, except for that smudge of crap.

It's funny how all shitcoins have to criticize others to exist and justify their history

I too find this hilarious.  The fact a lead dev of Feathercoin has to pimp his coin in such a way proves what FTC actually is.

There is one simple fact that Feathercoin can't run from.  FTC is a 51% forked coin with fake blocks in it's chain.  FTC is lower than low.  The pimpers know they scam.

tl;dr

The public image of FTC is so bad even the devs have to pimp it.

Do you seriously think this?
Plain ridiculous
Several devs are fuckers but FTC devs are from being the only ones who care about their clone

It's funny how all shitcoins have to criticize others to exist and justify their history

It's comical these losers try and spread rumors after crying about "FTC Myths"...

The first GPU miner for LTC was developed by the Solidcoin losers to try and 51% it, months after LTC was launched. ArtForz (rip) was working on a GPU miner for LTC but could never get it to work and quit development on it when the Solidcoin bunch released Reaper.

In Solidcoin's foolish attempts to develop a GPU miner to kill LTC, they saved LTC by bringing on hashrate which protected it against Botnets.

The early LTC network hash rate and difficulty do not support the claim of GPU mining from block zero.

Note to FTC Devs:

Start down the path of Solidcoin FUD against LTC and you will suffer the same fate.

~BCX~

Talk about biting the hand which fed them success. FTC rode on LTC's name as some inferior lighter coin and now they spread FUD about.

I will never support FTC.

Re-read the thread. The "FUD" you are talking about was not FUD but moreso just an assumption. Even BitcoinExpress detracted his statement on the "FUD".

Also re-read the OP.  Tongue

The video says Feathercoin is the exact opposite of a pump and dump, but your description of a pump and dump fits Feathercoin EXACTLY. First, you have something that is worth basically nothing (Feathercoin when it was first released), then it gets pumped to an artificially high price (happened), and then dumped below hell (look at it now). Feathercoin was a beautifully executed pump and dump that parted many fools with their money.

As for Feathercoin not being dead, I actually agree with you. It's not dead because of people like you, either liars who are trying to pump it again to make even more money, or delusional people who really believe that it's going to succeed. Either way, you're leading people down the path to being broke.

I am struggling to understand how any crypto would be supported by anyone after something like this: http://imgur.com/a/fTye4#10 (pdf: http://maxminer.files.wordpress.com/2013/06/ftc_51attack.pdf)

There exists a Feathercoin user holding about a fifth of all coins with the intent and capability to execute a highly damaging attack to the network and its users.

Feathercoin seems to be one of the more active coins in the alt-coins arena, if any of them is to succeed, Feathercoin will stand a very high chance.
