WTF, I have a couple of BTC at MTGOX and the price keeps on falling every minute. At the moment it is around 340$. So should I withdraw all my Bitcoins from there or wait until the price rises again on MTGOX. Some bad tongues have been saying Bitcoin will drop under 100$ by the end of next week. Is this only meant for MTGOX or for the Bitcoin price everywhere?

Every time a block is mined, a certain amount of BTC (called the subsidy) is created out of thin air and given to the miner. The subsidy halves every four years and will reach 0 in about 130 years.

please read other threads before making ones about gox..

GOX IS DEAD we do not need a running commentary on it every $50 it drops.. ill even give you a spoiler alert

GOX will continue to drop, like a person with cancer, getting weaker and weaker until nothing is left.

those that are still trading on it think they are playing with real funds that they can withdraw. they do not realise they are now just playing with fake balances on a binary file database. the amounts on the database have no ties and no backing to actual funds.

so we dont need to have a countdown of their fake prices.

many thanks rant over

Currently BTC withdrawals are not processed at MtGox.
