I think it will be very safe if you keep your private key and Keystore / JSON File safely, the wallet you have will also be very safe, but don't let you log in incorrectly and make sure the website is not a phishing link or a fake website, you must be careful to avoid the risk.

As long as I use myetherwallet, I feel safe and secure, making insecurity is your own way of maintaining your wallet. During this time myetherwallet has always improved its security, besides the user's responsibility to maintain their wallet, store it in cold storage

I would use something like Metamask or something where you don't have to use a private key. I've had one stolen and it really sucks. Stay safe out there.
