Hi all,
I have searched the net and this forum and cant find the answer.

I have a rig with 2 7790's and 3 7850's. together in one instance they dont run stable so I have to seperate them into 2 instances of cgminer.

My question is if I want to solo mine what do I need to do to balance the work between both instances of cgminer with 1 client?

I have found references to it but no explanation on how to do it. do I need to ad another rcpuser and pass. I read something about using a tx-sig or something like that but don't understand.

any input is appreciated.

Thanks for reading

The network tries to produce one block per 10 minutes. It does this by automatically adjusting how difficult it is to produce blocks.

you don't need to balance your two rigs, just point them both at your coin client and start to solo

thanks.

the reason I was wondering is I came accross this

"If you are solo mining with more than one instance of BFGMiner (or any
other software) per payout address, you must also specify data using the
--coinbase-sig option to ensure each miner is working on unique work. Note
that this data will be publicly seen if your miner finds a block using any
GBT-enabled pool."

although it is for bfgminer and bitcoin. I want each instance using unique work. will the client take care of that automatically?

and I don't understand the coinbase-sig thing and not sure if it/s bitcoin specific or not
