Gox has been pretty much useless for about 6 months now, not sure what the big deal is.

If Gox resumes BTC withdrawals and gets it's act together with (1) transparency and (2) support regarding withdrawals of other currencies (which admittedly is difficult when tied to such activity as BTC), they'll do just fine. They've screwed up a lot but I think they can turn it around tbh. They'll never have a super majority market share again, but they'll definitely be a major player.

Everyone bitches that Gox is the worst stain upon Bitcoin history, but forget that everyone loved Gox when they proclaimed the price to be an ATH of 1200.

But then they found they had no way of withdrawing any of that cash and that inaccessible cash is rather useless.
