actually both are unrelated but most altcoin always see bitcoin if going up or down, in contrast to bitcoin that can go down or ride anytime he wants because he is king in crypto (that's just my thinking)

No there isn't any relationship between the two as the bitcoin prices fall first then the Altcoin prices fall and not the other way around. This also happen because the investors loose confidence in the Altcoin market after the fall of bitcoin and also some sell their coins to purchase bitcoin because of the sale going on in the dump phase of bitcoin.

I wouldn't worry long term at all and probably short term either. If BTC price doesn't fall (my personal opinion, but I think it will not) then alts will go up within a few days maximum. We are starting to see it now already. Don't you worry, it's not worth it!

I believe that the price of the altcoin really depend on the bitcoin price. The bitcoin is the price basis of all coin on crypto feild if bitcoin falls down the altcoin price is also falling down. So then I believe that the altcoin depend on the bitcoin market. If bitcoin failed the altcoin will also failed.
