ETH in practice shows that it is the platform for smart contracts №1 and behind it there is a huge audience of loyal users. Yes there are problems with scalability, but even EOS with its promises launched with a lot of bugs.
"In a nutshell, the network works like a distributed timestamp server, stamping the first transaction to spend a coin. It takes advantage of the nature of information being easy to spread but hard to stifle." -- Satoshi

Ethereum - POW(POS in future), centralize trends
Dieci - BlockchainX Algo, decentralized and scalable

do you think it can beat ethereum? I do
The fundamental difference between the ether and bitcoin is reliable insurance against the collapse of the course. Unlike the bitcoin, which is not backed by anything, the etherium is in demand as an "expendable material" for projects based on the blockbuster. This demand sets a certain lower level, which is able to protect the crypto currency from depreciation. While the platform is interesting for entrepreneurs and they are ready to pay for it, the rate will continue to grow.
