So the Americans will be able to trade options on Crypto... Personally, we think that it's a big step for crypto currencies and, after Japan, U.S. recognizes the growth and importance of cryptos in our society and the potential impact on the long term on the global economy. The most important question for the traders is how all these new regulatory integrations will affect the price of certain cryptos: will it go higher, will the impact will be for a short or long term, what are the next steps, will Bitcoin, Ethereum or any other cryptocurrency become part of our daily financial activity?

We will have answers to all these questions in the near future.

Each block is stacked on top of the previous one. Adding another block to the top makes all lower blocks more difficult to remove: there is more "weight" above each block. A transaction in a block 6 blocks deep (6 confirmations) will be very difficult to remove.

I like the idea of Cryptos derivatives trading. Reminds me of forex and binary options where you can trade without holding any digital asset. This is more of binary options trading though where you have to trade on whether an instrument will be up or down after a specific time.

This is from investopedia:

"Even as they have pumped money into bitcoin, investors have largely shied away from other cryptocurrencies. Their approach is best exemplified by the glaring disparity in trading volumes for the top three cryptocurrencies. When this piece was written, bitcoin had trading volumes of $8.3 billion. Ethereum, the second most valuable cryptocurrency, had less than 60% of that figure with trading volumes of $2.7 billion. Ripple was the third most valuable cryptocurrency and had trading volumes of $0.5 billion. More vectors for investing through derivatives could make institutional and regular investors comfortable with other cryptocurrencies and generate cash infusions into their markets. In turn, this could result in less volatility in their prices."

And from ICOalert:

"To understand crypto derivatives, we must first understand traditional derivatives. A derivative is an asset contract between two or more parties. Derivatives may be traded and exchanged. Therefore, a crypto derivative is a contract between two or more parties based upon cryptocurrency.

“This interface will definitely be skewed to the long bitcoin holders,” said Paul Chou, founder of LedgerX, a former derivatives trader in Goldman Sachs’ securities division, “who will likely only deposit bitcoin who will want to earn interest off of that bitcoin.”

Currently, LedgerX, a bitcoin trading platform, is leading the ecosystem in launching crypto derivatives.

LedgerX is the first SEC regulated U.S. cryptocurrency derivative exchange. The platform holds two different CFTC licenses. In the first week of the launch, 176 contracts were traded.

After the first week, the volume of derivative contract trading ballooned to a 40% monthly increase. There are now 2,000 open interest contracts on the LedgerX platform."

Futures_coin, there are a couple of platforms which allow us to trade BTC "futures" and "options", but I find them very complicated for an ordinary trader (especially those "options" - very hard to understand how it works). And what about your platform? What instruments are you going to implement? Will they be the same or you will make them more convenient for an ordinary trader? Thx

Someone is investing, of course, their goal is to make a profit, and they choose to invest in ICO to get more profit than to invest when Token has entered the market. because when we invest in ICO we will get more Token.
Cheesy Everyone has a different understanding of ico. Some people are investment block chain. Do it as a great thing. Others just want to get rich fast.
In as much as investing is ico is very risky because of the high rate of scam, I still believe investing in ico is also a way to get more token and you make profit when it is successful as long as you take your time to do a very good research about the project before you invest in it. Some icos are very profitable as they distribute rewards to participants as soon as it ends and the token get listed for exchange and the more the community accepts it, the higher the price.

Every business deal, every risky venture and adventures one one engages in is with a motive.. Profit. Partaking or investing in ICO 'makes room for more profit'. Of course, it has it dark side too. However, a good background check on the ICO to invest in, couple with being extra careful would help one in investing in the good ones.

I think that overall investment in ICOs is a very risky process. You should examine carefully the project and only after this and after comparison with other projects you could decide whether invest to a certain ICO or not.

What do you think how can the global crisis affect crypto?
What do you think will happen to the crypto market if there is an economic crisis around the world?
This topic is very interesting for me, so I would like to hear your thoughts.

If economic crisis happen around the world, i think all kind of market not only crypto market will go down. Because money is not valuable day by day, people will try to keep more stable valuable item like gold or usd (in developing countries, usd is most stable valuable comparing to its own country money) Because all cryprocurrencies are not stable so it will be down to die. Only real products, real work of cryprocurrencies survive

Agreed. But still it won't get you a 100% success!

New trading platform named Futurecoin has been introduced with much more derivatives having 2 new components 1. Web version 2. Mobile application.

The main task in the development of both components of the platform is to
provide users with a simple and intuitive way of dealing with cryptocurrencies
without investing in the cryptocurrencies themselves.
