You buy bitcoin off exchanges. The best exchange to use depends on what country you're in, but I always suggest using LocalBitcoins[1]. Bitcoin is currently priced at $6,261.50 as we speak. I guess https://www.coinbase.com/ is an easy approach if you want to buy just BTC and possibly ETH/LTC. You need a credit card and to do a KYC i recall. There are other ways if you live in restricted areas ^^ If you´r talking about earning BTC as well search for bounty & Airdrop campaigns here at bitcointalk! Good luck! |

In these days buying is the best way to get bitcoin. You can exchange your fiat to bitcoin. There are too many sites to get bitcoin from fiat. Coinbase and Cex are good sites to get bitcoin from fiat. |

If you want purchase bitcoin with fiat currency then you have to fiat exchange like coinbase in US, Zebpay in India but exchange depends on which country you live. If you want to check market price then just go to coinmarketcap.com where you will find all informations about cryptocurrencies.
And the best way to learn just search in youtube you will find lots of videos over there..

How can one get tasks to earn bitcoin? Is it like signature campaigns where you spread something throughout the net? Or is it like those ads where you need to fill up forms and then earn from it? Not really sure sorry newb here

If you have money, you can buy it directly from exchange, it is now about USD$8000 each coin. If you dont want to spend any money but you have plenty of time, you can do some bounties or join airdrop that organised by some crypto projects, once you meet several requirements, you will be given their coins which can be sold for btc.
