After a couple of hours on 300Kh/s I have Unconfirmed VGC account balance of 0.05378698...What's wrong here? Starting to think that Mine big pool has plans of its own...I should make around 9000 coins per day according to pool..any thoughts?

The current difficulty is around 20 and 1 block gives only 30 coins.
So your calculations are wrong. With 300kh/s you might expect, ehh maybe 0.3 coins/hour or so.
