Tea/Coffee from Mae Salong Thailand

Hi, I am seeing if there would be any interest in people ordering Tea grown from the Chaing Rai highlands in Mae Salong. This used to be part of the golden triangle where they grew opium. The govt has helped them change to growing coffee and tea. They have many many different types of both coffee and tea. The products are packaged in air tight packages and can be shipped from Thailand. I'm not sure on the shipping costs but I don't think it would be all that much. If there is some interest I can start getting some stuff working and try out some samples. Also I would only take bitcoins as payment:)

Edit, I am going to list what I currently have in stock, this will change often.  I will price them in bitcoin and in US dollars. If there is a giant swing in either currency I will adjust them as soon as I can. Also I will only accept bitcoin as payment!

I would love to get some tea. I've always wanted to try tea from Thailand. Do you have any white tea?

On hand no, however they do have good and high quality white tea. I am more or less just seeing if there is a market for this before I go up there and buy a whole bunch. The tea is honestly some of the best in the world. Right now I have a few samples of green tea (I think 100g bags but I am not sure, I don't have a scale on hand) that I would be willing to send out for the shipping costs if anyone is interested. Thanks.

Hello David, In the distant past, I had been willing to exchange bitcoins not for cash, but for confirmed tea orders from your competitor in Milwuakee, Rishi Tea. I am not in any way recommending this backward method. My only point is that as a bitcoin believer, tea junkie, and non-US resident, I have no reason to touch dollars but would make you bitcoin rich with my oolong habit.

Are you talking about the orange/brown stuff mixed with milk? That is not what I was selling but I can get that if you have some real interest.

Hi, I do know somethings about tea and about this tea specifically however I am not an expert. I have been buying it and drinking it daily for years.  There are many different types of tea grown in this area. Oo-long, Jasmin, Green, White, Black, Red, tea with ginseng, and I am sure many I am forgetting. Do you have any questions? Thanks.

That is a lot. I was more or less asking so I knew what size package to get for you. They come sealed so its fresh. I can't open them or change the package size. Thanks.

Are you from the region? I stayed in a small Shan village southwest of Chiang Rai, called Mae Lana, years ago while Thaksin had a bounty on drug dealers' heads which turned into an excuse for gang warfare. If I had known about the Taiwanese tea culture, I would have spent more time in Santikhiri, rather than swimming in tea on the wrong side of the Mekong.

Google tells me you have bold leaf, ruan zhi, jade, gue fei and da hong pao. Do the gardens sell directly? Does for example 101 also sell teas from Nantou? I'd be interested in purchasing a dozen 20g samples of pure oolongs. I tend toward darker caramels but am curious about all the oolongs in the region.
