There are many possibilities where bitcoin can be used in the future and there are some companies that accepts bitcoin as a payment. It would be cool of course to use bitcoin as a payment in buying airplane tickets and also other travelling vehicles. Bitcoin has a lot to offer and we can't wait to see what other offers could it be.

If that is the case then I would travel more often then. I xan imagine myself paying ticket with my bitcoin. I do hope more and more establishments finally realize how awesome bitcoin is and will start to accept it. Agree. This can be a very good idea for airlines to adapt to such technology and accept bitcoins as another way to pay for one's miles. But I think airlines should adjust greatly since bitcoins are pretty volatile and it's hard to manage such volatility specially if you're handling a stressful airline.

This will make it easy for Bitcoin holders to make transactions to pay for airport tickets, and I think airport managers are keen on technological advances, because they have many passengers and some of them will use bitcoin to pay for airlines. so Bitcoin holders don't need to exchange their Bitcoin with fiat money in that country.
