Hello,
I was wondering the best way to exchange Paypal for BitCoins. What is the current exchange rate and where is the most reliable vendor?

Thanks

You can not buy bitcoins with paypal because the paypal transaction is reversible and the bitcoin transaction is not. This means that, unless you have a good reputation in the community (which you don't because you just arrived), nobody will risk selling you bitcoins.

You have to use a bitcoin exchange so head over to MtGox, TradeHill or Exchangebitcoins.com and check their deposit methods.

You can check the price at different exchanges here: http://bitcoincharts.com/

I allow people to buy with paypal as long as they use the Gift option to send payment. Also I limit each transaction size to what I feel I am comfortable with.

Buyers need to have...

Verified paypal account
and/or
Ebay account w/ feedback
Bitcointalk account w/ feedback
Heatware
Bitcoin OTC
or some other method of determination for trust that I deem acceptable.

Also I do charge a small premium for not established users, but it is still less than using a 3rd party exchange.

It's not that easy. You can do it buying from that Virwox site but I guess it gets pretty expensive

I believe Paypal does not want to deal with Bitcoins due to their Policy.
