If you participated in their project in the past and you receive a good amount then its good for you since you can trust them. Bounties are very good way to earn tokens if you do not have money to invest in an ICo but there are several of bounties out there that are scams and not worth the hassle.If you do not make your due diligence well before joining a project,you will end up working for scams throughout which will not earn you anything.

What i see are people promoting the projects whose signatures they are carrying. My believe is that, although, you might not discard the suggestions made to you, but also try as much as possible to know about the project you are investing in, in order not to be misguided.
