This is a great coin for personal use. With that said, if I run a crypto investment center, this may be a little difficult to peddle to possible clients. What is your advice?

Who are your clients ? I mean if they like the darker side of things they should pick up this coin I would think , yes?

Clients from everyday walks of life. I can see this doing great if it was it was investors straight from Humboldt county, or Colorado. But, let's say they come from the bible belt. How do you sell this to them? You can't say, "I've got a great coin you need to invest in for X reason, it's call dopecoin" No one is going to fork over $5,000-$10,000 for something called dopecoin without a sure fire profit. You and I know this is profitable, but how does one sell this coin to outsiders?

The coin needs a large and active community base, presumably built up from the successful deployment of this anonymity feature.

I've never lost faith!  I  sold all my crypto's and have it all in DopeCoin!  

Two things I noticed.  1.] On Mintpal Dope is worth more then Doge  2.] The DOPE ticker sits between Doge and DRK coin the two most popular coins

If you downloaded the wallet from the link in the OP then it's not the most current client.  For some reason, the dev couldn't be bothered to change the link in the OP after the hard fork.  Guess they want as few people as possible to get DOPE.    Go to Dopecoin.com and download your wallet from there and you will sync up fine.

I dumped out a few days ago.  Potcoin on the other hand is starting to take off.

Sad to see this fail so badly. Should have invested in potcoin, but hindsight is 20/20. At least it was fun and kind of exciting while it lasted. Either way, I've lost all my bitcoin investment due to a hacker, and this coin eating the dust. Time to get back to the real world.
