If you're intersted in actually spending your bitquarks on products check out the posts for EBT and FairQuark.  We're developing an online marketplace similar to craigslist where people are planning to sell their used items for a select few crypto-currencies.

We already have a few dedicated merchants with overstock items who will be listing daily once development is complete.  If there's enough interest and enough people want to sell items for bitquark we may consider listing it as well.

With over 300+ coins out there we're going to be very selective which coins will be accepted for goods so it needs to be a coin with vision, not just a coin created for speculative investment or as a trade up.

Still in the process of working on getting BTQ's accepted at outlets. BTQ is still young, just over a month old, so it will take some time.

So it looks like BlockChain.info is going to start up a new exchange. They sent me an email saying they would like to add BTQ to their exchange!

NICE!

BTW: IMHO it's time to strip altcryptomining as a valid pool from the bitquark.info website.

BlockChain.info requires a 2 BTC buy in and they will be hosting only a few altcoins on their exchange. So what do you guys think about this???

Yes! It is still down! Looks like this time for the last time. This surprises you? It has consistently crashed at least once every two weeks since it started! Super Duper took offense to my remarks that he doesn't know what he's doing saying "Things break. I fix them."  Uh huh. History proves otherwise. Maybe this is the reason so many have drifted over to the MPOS pool? And we KNOW they won't go back.

I'm sorry i already sold them all  Cool
Too bad. I predict you will soon regret that decision, as will all the other coin rapists out there. That's my 0.02BTQ. Tongue

I talked to the admin of BlockChain.info and he informed me that they aren't making an exchange and that there is someone out there trying to scam people out of money by acting like they are part of BlockChain.info.

Need an exchange with more volume e.g. Cryptsy, Mintpal, CryptoRush or even Poloniex.

Been voting at Mintpal, CryptoRush but we don't have the community size to make much of a dent unless someone wants to make a massive donation i.e. >6BTC to buy a place.

Cryptsy don't have BTQ in the voting list and Poloniex choose without voting (probably our best chance - poloniex@gmail.com).

Until then, I guess I'll keep mining and holding and hoping something happens Smiley

I just sent Poloniex another email, hopefully they will get back with me soon! If I have to I will send them an email everyday til BTQ is added to their exchange! Smiley

Most important thing to success, it is the number of miner.
Without miners, the exchanges are useless.
Anyway, how make the miners are mining this coin ?
It is the problem what WE(not just devs) have to solve.
Miner will mine this coin when they feel  future value base on the activity of dev/community, and the current value of coins.

Right now I'm pretty much going at the development alone, so if any of you guys have any skills and want to jump on board just let me know. Here are just a few things I want to get going:
1) Get on a major exchange.
2) Get websites to accept BTQ as payments.
3) Develop a new wallet with lots of new features, much like the wallet that Particle was developing.
4) Paper wallet added to main website.
5) Pool added to main website.
6) Android wallet app.

Those are just a few things that I want to get going ASAP.
