As far as I know, they are only on IOS phones.

They pay you back when you buy crypto from their app.

The thing "they pay" is their own currency so they are bringing value to their token which is fine as per my understanding, people may disagree to what I say but agreeing to disagreement is same.

Here are my observations.

1. Fiat on-ramp for crypto.
2. They are P2P payment app with insured $ and they are rewarding (with crypto) ppl for sending payments.
3. App will be gamified- more you are beneficial to the platform more you will get back in form of cash back. This will drive price of MTL up.
4. Highly regulated playground of business, already 38 states licences in the US.
5. In 2019 app will be available in the US, EU and Asia--real banking app with insured fiat in it.
6. They are focused on Nocoiners
7. Real use case
8. Great UI/UX.
9. They aren't playing on a decentralized project.
