To enhance my privacy, I have been thinking of moving some of my online work subscriptions over to a prepaid cryptocurrency debit card, or buying these accounts directly from provider. This arose two questions:

1. What is the best VCC provider for Bitcoin that would be appropriate for monthly subscriptions?
2. Would it be a better idea to find a provider of these accounts, pre-paid for some time, fund a vcc and DIY?

The presumable answer to #2 is that you don't know how it's been paid for, so there's no assurance that you're buying an ethically attained account. However, lets put that aside and assume they're a legitimate on the forum.

I can see privacy benefits in number 2, and also the benefit that they know what they're doing (they know what service to use if they're using a vcc and they know what works with each subscription/account, so the trial and error hurdle is removed). Though, if there are services that work well around the web with no hiccups, I'd love to know what the community is using.

I've explored paybymoon and some other options in this board, though I want to hear about what works from the community and see what consensus says.

Note: No KYC prepaid/refillable cards only. I have seen this thread though it doesn't state which ones require/don't require kyc.

I think you may try a Bit store virtual card for your subscription. They don't ask KYC for a virtual card if you don't request a physical card. I haven't used it yet but found it through Binance Marketplace. I have been using a RedotPay virtual card where I need to verify KYC to order a virtual card. Since you too care about privacy, then it's not for you. Bit Store would be helpful somehow. Do your own diligence before using it; I am not experiencing their card.

The #2 can be a good choice only if you deal with someone you know or if this provider is trusted here on the forum.

The #1 best option is if you own a VCC or debit card and can refill it by yourself so that you can refill it the card every month if needed. The problem is most of the providers right now require KYC and most of the non-kyc VCC providers can't be trusted.

Why not use a debit card from Binance or Coinbase?

Someone used fcfpay.com before that provides VCC without KYC I don't know if they still work their forum account here is no longer active and it seems they are moving or rebranding to zyptopay.com

Did you manage to narrow it down to some candidates?

I'll have to check it out.
Just confirming that this is the correct link is bit.store? It seems quote promising, has some news coverage and a decent face-view reputation. I've bookmarked to do some more research and to test. Thank you for the reply.

The problem with Binance or Coinbase as their KYC requirements. I don't believe in having to sacrifice identity when not having to, and you simply don't have to for a VCC.

I'll look into zyptopay.com.

I haven't yet had a need, I will soon though, and now I have two to try Smiley

I'll look into zyptopay.com.
Someone is promoting it here just last month https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5483254.0
You can judge by yourself that there is self-promotion under that thread that makes zyptopay suspicious.  For now, I can't trust them but you can try just make sure to spend only what you can afford to lose.

How about a Visa prepaid card it might be also work on a subscription monthly basis I just found a thread and I think they are still active here on the forum you can check their thread from this link below no KYC required so it should be the right offer you looking for.  The only problem is I  don't know if you can refill the card but try to ask the stealth and maybe they can able to refill the card.
