I started trading bitcoin cash from the day it was launch or immediately after the fork. I loose heavily because it was dumped within a twinkle of an eye so people do not really trust bitcoin cash like bitcoin.

There are multiple forks of Bitcoin which create altcoins, but there is only one Bitcoin. The question of whether larger blocks are better than smaller blocks seems to have been settled for now - Bitcoin Cash only has a fraction of the market capitalization of Bitcoin. Until scalability becomes an issue again, do not expect Bitcoin Cash to increase in value.

Even there will be an altcoin that will be better in bitcoin, considering if it's more faster, cheaper and full anonymity, it doesn't assure anything and it won't be. Bitcoincash is nothing but an imitation of bitcoin and trying to be a good one even it isn't, more likely bch is literally living in a hype and Roger Ver will do anything. This isn't healthy for a coin since it will end up a bubble that will burst anytime.

There are a number of reasons for this, but you have to remember that Bitcoin Cash is still just an alt coin at the end of the day. Bitcoin is still the biggest coin because of its brand as well as it being the original crypto, but the speed of BCH and it and being cheaper to spend isn't the only factor in what makes a great or better coin.

Let's look at Bitcoin as a brand. You can certainly argue that there are coins that are faster or are even arguably 'better' in some aspects than Bitcoin, just like you could argue there are better colas than Coca Cola and Pepsi, but those two have the brand name and followings associated with them. Bitcoin Cash just tried to capitalize off of Bitcoin's brand and forked it with what they thought were improvements, but it just having Bitcoin in the title doesn't really make it any better than any other alt coins that are faster or cheaper of which there are many. Bitcoin Cash was basically just forked by individuals who wanted to run bitcoin as they see fit, and I don't think that is in the spirit of bitcoin, but they are certainly free to do so. Many other forks have also happened and I'm sure many more will come, but I certainly see no reason why a new or even existing coin couldn't improve on Bitcoin even further and become more popular and the 'dominant' currency one day and I recently wrote about that in the Which will survive in long run Bitcoin or Blockchain thread if you want to see my thoughts on that.

By the way, is BCH that much faster or cheaper now than Bitcoin since the LN? I haven't really used BCH in a while so can't comment on that but the issues with bitcoin seem to have been largely addressed since the inception of BCH and it is much faster and cheaper to use than it was.

Bitcoin cash is altcoin and while Bitcoin is the first crypto currency to reveal to the world that crypto currencies are useful and valuable. Therefore Bitcoin is better than Bitcoin cash in my opinion.

I'm not sure it is better because the founder of bitcoin.com always says bitcoin cash is better than bitcoin.

Everyone knows BTC survived many bad times even long time so it's not easy to replace any others coin. BCH need more time to use it everywhere as normally. Although BCH is good to use.

Not only is BCH faster and cheaper than bitcoin.  All altcon can do the same.  But bitcoin is the first source of crypto.  bitcoin cash or altcoin is just copy imitate bitcoin that out.
