My account TERA2 was stolen (again). Luckily this time I was able to lock it in time after getting the email message to lock the account within 14 days. However, I do not see where this leads to actually recovering my account back to the old email address. How do I do this? I dont believe I used any BTC/PGP addresses but I just want it reset back to the old email it was at a few days ago. Thanks.

Yeah, then nothing can help you here. Do you have any other way of proving, it may or may not help you, depending upon what proof you have.

It seem that the account has been compromised: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=trust;u=1285294

When was your account compromised? And for the love of god, use some better means of security. Use a password generator of some sort.

The account was stolen 4 days ago.

I now see that just before this I was getting emails from scammers who are trying to extort me for $1900 in btc with my leaked password by claiming they have vids of me watching porn.  (Ive looked this up and found it is a scam but the password leaks are real). Im guessing these are the same people that stole my account.

My proof is that I still own the email that the account was just registered to 4 days ago and I can correspond with it. I do not get why this is not enough.

I used such an insecure password because I dont do anything particularly important here or transact any business - I simply shoot the shit on the speculation forum. After this happening twice though, I guess I change this habit and use a more secure password.

Also, I think we should make it so that password and email changes require email confirmation.

I know that, alphamale, is your password. you do not know me and you are most likely thinking why you are getting this e-mail, right?
Let me tell you, I placed a malware on the adult video clips (sex sites) and there's more, you visited this web site to have fun (you know what I mean). While you were busy watching video clips, your internet browser initiated operating as a Rdp (Remote control desktop) that has a keylogger which gave me accessibility to your display screen and also webcam. After that, my software program obtained every one of your contacts from your messenger, social networks, and email.

What exactly did I do?
I've created a double-screen video. 1st part shows the video you were viewing (you have a fine taste lmao), and 2nd part displays the recording of your web cam.

Exactly what should you do?
Well, I believe, $1900 is a reasonable price tag for our little secret. You'll make the payment through Bitcoin (if you don't know this, search "how to buy bitcoin" in google).
