Blackcoin's staking is open for everybody, not only for early adopters or wealthy, like in all of those masternode coins. If you don't own MN you are just supporting the hypetrain giving those two groups plenty of income. Blackcoin's like clockwork staking doesn't require massive investments to earn interest on your holdings.

What if u dont support - and don't need to support - any alts but want to make money in the quickest way possible. What would u do? Set up a frigging masternode Nah instead u would take over dzimbecks account which is abandoned at the moment and, under dzimbeck handle, u would announce that u've received a donation from peter thiel's foundation and u will use that money for the development of BLK DPOS. If u had said this someone would have believed u, no doubt.

If masternodes can make payments faster and better for future development, then can be used.

Perhaps we should not be too concerned about the price, but should think about what is the right path.

I'm all for more speed. But giving a bonus award to larger nodes with a minimum requirement may lock smaller users out of the most of the PoS rewards. Say a BLK 100,0000 requirement to become a masternode doesn't seem like much now (almost $1000 as we speak). But should BLK ever be worth a few dollars then you'd need to be incredibly wealthy to lay claim to the masternode rewards.

Hello Mr. DrDolittle,

First of all, thank you for your hard work, you made a lot of contributions to the blackcoin.

For the long-term development of blackcoin,I have some suggestions:

Please add an automatic donation feature option on the blackcoin QT wallet. For example, set up automatic donation mining 5%~30%.

This is very convenient, I believe a lot of people will be willing to donate.

For those who don't want to donate, give them an option to close the donation.

You control the fund , Fund reward developer, New users for developing new areas. And for marketing.

Now, there are a lot of competing currencies. Blackcoin should also take the initiative.

------------

In addition, blackcoin Wallet should be more humane.

I've developed a lot of new users in China, and I know what most people need.

Many users are not computer experts,They don't even know how to set dataDir . Several people lost his wallet for this reason.

When the wallet is running for the first time, it should have the function of selecting the directory.

In addition, the slow synchronization data, whether there is a better solution?

More important than price is the development route.

As long as the right path, I think the price will rise.

Cryptocurrency in general isn't exactly accessible unless you're a nerd. But making software more accessible without making it less secure is very tricky. Online wallets are more easy to use but they're way less secure.

Unfortunately this is correct, there is a reason the average person prefers online wallets.  Its just more convenient and less hassle for them to manage 'in the cloud' then be sure of themselves handling the files.   Its a small task to anyone half way acquainted with computers but the path of least resistance is what you should expect the masses to follow.
We definitely do want the masses of people who are only half way interested in crypto currency to be involved, we want people who really only have a desire to transfer currency occasionally to be interested.  There is a small tendency by computer enthusiasts to tend towards elitism, kind of a competitive spirit but it should never be applied for a consumer facing product where your random consumer should be allowed to be an idiot and suffer no detriment in use of the product.   My ideal would be someone drunk can use that product, literally they are out of it but its usable to them still that would be the gold standard imo.   The average person is just incredibly distracted and their focus is miles away from proper usage
Its a really basic point nothing new but I do imagine its a big factor in success of pretty much every product I look at.  I used to deal with Doctors and Lawyers who are clever people but had failed in basic points of their use of computers, frustratingly wrong on simple usage but my purpose was to translate it to their use of the product so it was straight forward for them.
People just wont bother in the majority to alter their thinking to match a product, more likely they will keep skipping over anything till something they fall over is understandable to them.  My fear is the banks make some killer app for phones and crypto wallets lose alot on business, of course all those people will be lost into the FIAT system which is haemorrhaging money to politics

Yeah fantastic, 'drunk' should be a great benchmark. The biggest fear for everyone is losing their wallet in one click. And so far it really seems that the biggest threat to someone's coins is themselves. So the most accessible wallet should be one that puts the bulk of the money aside but doesn't need the whole key, just a password. Maybe a google authenticator or something.

As for payments. These should use the chipcard system. Where you can load a limited amount of money (say, up to $500 but sensibly far less) on your card and you can simply pay with QR code scans.
