If the development were so certain in these areas, all easy parts are done now the hard ones are left.. where you have to do the good old debug, debug, debug, aha and fix (I have successfully tested: creating a wallet, receiving of BLK, but last step sending is having a hiccup: Error: Wrong signatures.. have to debug why..) run other tests 69 passing (15s) 18 failing (have to fix them, not much  ) |

Is BlackCoin used for something other than pumps and dumps? Wasn't the staking wallet supposed to be done years ago? Seems like abandonware at this point.  Can't believe anyone actually took this project seriously at any time, but some people devoted dozens of posts to discussing it a length. No shortage of suckers in the alt space I guess! |

The original dev of BLK, rat4 is still actively jiggling with the codebase: https://github.com/rat4?tab=activityThe pump and dump of 2014 brought with it plenty of talent, much of which have moved onto other projects. The flatness in the price doesn't draw an awful lot more of the rather thin-on-the-ground hardcore dev talent to the table unfortunately but we do have a few resident experts like janko33 and DZimbeck keeping things ticking along. Unlike other commercially oriented coin launches which have happened since, BLK remains a pretty open coin for use cases so it's anyones to tinker with. It's only abandonware when the blockchain stops. |

You know with a bit of reading you would easily find that the Blackcoin core dev Rat4 is still actively working on the code (last commit just few days ago, check the coin github repo), also there is Janko33 currently developing a staking mobile wallet and he was giving us news about it just few days ago right here in this thread. This place (bct) is filled with day traders, greedy profit suckers and trolls. In less than 2 minutes you can join the Blackcoin Slack channel and get much more information in a friendly environment. I would recommend every one that is seriously interested in Blackcoin, the team, the current development and future projects, to consider using Slack. Cheers! |
