guys i think Blackcoin should remain as BLK Blackcoin forever

1 - it doesnt matter about which troll posted pump, or dump or fud this or that, every single coin thread has those moments at different intervals.
The bitcoin wall thread for years has dealt with stuff like that for btc.

2 - " do it like dash " on this view that darkcoin changing to dash helped...you need to ask why did they need to rebrand in the first place?
       2 reasons imo ....
 A - the darkcoin was gaining alot of darkweb attention, while at first was good for hype, was not good for long term investors as the sole use case
 B -  many know of the notorious instamine of darkcoin, which puts dev integrity under the scope..but with the name rebranding new investors are unware of its past instamine and MN obsfusciation of where the instamined coins all went.


Afaik i know,  BLACKCOIN has none of these problems and thats why it should remain as BLk Blackcoin

In concerns to branding: I agree. I have played with the name Onyx and Carbon and like both.

I'm on the side of re-branding, "black" does give people a negative impression at the first sight.

Your timing could be good on that one to buy some blackcoin.   I might pick up a trade and buy some at .00006 if it can stretch that low it may be good for a pop back up. That low could match a trend and similar to the last low could be a nice place to then see some appreciation.   Right or wrong it seems altcoins go in popularity along with bitcoin, if that has arrested its recent pullback I'd hope BLK can get some legs to it and confirm the higher prices.  I guess over the next week I'll be watching how that develops

I think the biggest thing is the faster verification speed. Blackcoin is quite fast already, one of the fastest. This will bring blackcoin more ahead on that list.

i dont know why he chose it, but black does not = bad, imo
blk blackcoin has history and survived the toughest tests coins faced during the bleak days of crypto.
when people see the name & chain  after 10yrs, 20yrs and still operational, i think it installs a bit of faith into the project overall

tbh its why i came back too.the chain & dev integrity has earned its spot in crypto forever as BLK BLACKCOIN...
...if i had heard of a rebranding of blk then came i wouldve assumed its just an attempt at a pnd

also BLK will not be delisted from polo, even they know pos is going to be huge soon and BLK is the pos innovator..

BLK will be over $200mill easy within a yr or two max...why ?
as the new projects that are on the top 10-40 spots they will drop as the projects investors (profit) and devs(pay for dev'n) cash out for various reasons
BLK has already went through this process many times , but that was when it had early investors (profit) and devs(pay for dev'n) just like the new coins.

now very similar to XRP..we have a coin, thats had around 5yrs devs work and innovation all ready, ( with even more in the future)
It has a low supply and the coin is at rock bottom price.
If you look at the charts from past 48hours, during the biggest dump of the yr on all crypto, BLK did not go under 6k...very immpressive, this means the hodlers value this coin alot higher too.


so if it was $1+ with roadmaps and promises, no smart contracts and pos was dying few yr ago

I could guess, black coins are a gambling or casino term for extremely high worth tokens used in lieu of plain cash of course on blackjack tables or whatever.   I once heard a story of a whale being pick pocketed or simply losing his black coin at a casino and they had all the staff, waiters etc out lined up till it was found.  I think it was $50,000 each disc in that case.  Its just like a bling thing, having that in your stack makes everyone go woo he is rich or he won alot even if he never uses it.  However I cant find any reference for it so I might be remembering it wrong, also it depends on the establishment as the top token used might be only $500 some places.  I dont know, Im not that rich just a staff story I read once.

over the past few weeks, i have been trying to keep up with alot ,
 so many coins, so much tech, trying to find gd projects over vapourware or overpriced coins is time consuming
 as many of us here know lol


anyways...i have been slow buying BLK for a week or two as i see qaulity in the project.
I will keep slow buying BLK with profits from other coins i trade from my lil trade stack.

Now im going to start a pos wallet and stuff....can anyone give me a few tips or guides on the best way to do this.

i plan on starting pos as soon as i can and will be with BLK for at least 2-3yrs , name of the game is accumulation by 2020 when crypto is fully mainstream
and with smart contracts, controlled/secured by pos nodes/wallets  , BLK will do very well.

The 20 hours is just an estimation, a mere guess based on your network weight. Taken your network connection is stable, your wallet could stake in the next minutes or tomorrow. Also if all your coins have been staking already you might have to wait until they are allowed to stake again (I think, not sure how exactly this has changed after PoS v2).

10,000 coins is every day a stake roughly.   I havent checked recently and it is approximate because of all the people who could stake but dont bother, obviously people store on exchanges and do not receive this benefit but that varies.
How many coins are you staking.    Your'll find out after a few weeks what you can roughly expect but it wont be as regular with small amounts, I think returns expected are possibly along the lines of 5% a year.  So add up what you got, times by 52 for weeks and fiddle that calculation about till you get roughly figures that match and it'll show a time frame for stake.  Or just wait, sounds like you doing it right

Someone wrote some post ago polo might delist BLK. I don't think so, polo would be really stupid to do that. The 24h turnover is more than $500,000
and BLK has a strong chinese community, see the turnover at BTC38 and jubi.
