While the idea is nice I haven't seen any big professional gambler out here, all I see newbies coming and posting tips and then they disappear, then there're some tipsters thread honestly never even opened them, I prefer to rely on my gut then what they post, why not keep the group here, you could open a self moderated thread and many could take advantage of it, not all will come to telegram just a suggestion.

Not all of them are newbies. I sometimes take the tips of Joca97 and BitcoinSupremo, but I think these are not professionals. Merely part timers or extreme hobbyists. I think I remember a few newbies try to open as well, but once they post losing streaks or they don't get enough people paying, then they also lose interest.

Someone should ask the forums of those sports professionals, like who has an account here. Tell them there's a big Bitcoin community who gambles here. Who knows what we might get?

well that's one of the points for creating this group , if you check my previous posts I have a thread where I track tipsters that I follow and it can show the ones that are good and the one that are not

we can share ideas there about both good and bad tipsters so people can easily know who they should follow

Good day to all of you,
I joined this forum only because of this post. I think that sportsbetting covers too wide area and that it should little more specified about what people do you look for. I am 16 years in betting already, have been working almost everything and still am, and based from this first post I can only assume that you look for people that share betting tips, analysis and simillar.
Still,I would like to write few lines of advices here and anyone who wants to work can contact me Telegram:
1) See what type of person you are. Some people prefer more mathematical approach, searching values and looking for loopholes and reacting quickly before market reacts. I had that with some valuebet bots(still do) and that is one way to go at sports betting
2) Don't be afraid of paying tipsters. Think of it this way: Can you possibly know whats happening in Phillipine, Bulgaria, Algeria football league? Of course not. Premiership and popular leagues are too well covered and bookies know it too well. Just cause underdog won, it doesn't mean they didnt expect it. There is only small % of people who can beat bookies on world's most popular markets in long run. The wider network you got, you get more chance and mostly focus on markets which Asian's dont offer as there is higher chance of sucess there.
3) If you don't want to risk, look for risk free methods. Yes, there is less and less of them with limits and constant changes caused by Bookmakers upgrading, but it's still possible to do some small bonus hunting or late betting if you got right tools, money and enough time for all.

Considering tipsters, free tipsters are in most occassions bad tipsters which want to prove themselves and create history. Hiring a paid tipster also carries risk as tipster wont be losing money if he is in bad streak, you will. If you think you can beat bookies by yourself, then focus on what you know best, keep strict to your money managment and use your knowledge. I haven't had a job in over 12 years and I consider myself full time bettor so I will be happy to answer to you all questions and help newbies if they decide to try out these waters. Just be careful!

As far as free tipsters go, Patrick L Sturmberg has a 92-47 record for UFC prelim fights(you can see his record posted on the bottom of this page):

https://www.mmamania.com/2018/7/10/17547488/ufc-fight-night-133-fox-sports-1-prelims-preview-predictions-online-dos-santos-ivanov-boise-mma

I have never followed him or paid attention to his bets--I can't comment on his ROI or anything other than his record.  That is the best "free picks" public record I know of which exists right now in mixed martial arts.

I would be interested in hearing about these arbitrage opportunities you refer to. Could you give me an example of how you structure arb in sports betting?

Interesting but how about those tipsters that has their own thread here? sharing their tips/picks. I'm considering them as professional gamblers (or not really but they are good), they won't share their tips if the accuracy is low.

Good luck with the idea Sy.

That's true mate professional gambler they can't share their tips and ideas strategy specially people treated gambling as source of income of they treat gambling as job.

As I said nowadays it's less opportunities, mostly there are value bets. There are still softwares for Arbs but mostly guys do arbitrage by combining local books and online ones.
There are 2 stuff: arbs and middles.
I will try explain.

Example arbitrage:
There are plenty software that scan odds on online bookies and alert you when there is an. best forum is arbusers for such stuff
If you have match Nadal-Federer and in one bookie you have 2.1 on Nadal win and other 2.00 on Federer to win, you got yourself risk-free bet with 5e profit on 200 stake.
as you can see % are really low but there is no risk. it's possible to get higher % by combining local books and I know lot of guys who do arbitrage local books/Betfair and make over 1k daily from it.

2)Middles is also using different odds at different t bookies but with bit different approach. Easiest example is basketball.
one bookie gives you 156.5 for under whole other gives 159.5
You take over 156.5 and under 159.5  and if it's in middle you win both
Also is possible to take alternative ones and have sure profit like ARB, but middles bring more profit when you hit them and they can also be risk free.

Considering sharing betting strategies, it's not science fiction. from betrush one Komso has hundreds subscribers and some make money on him while others can't. why? Beacuse too many people use same strategy and not all subs can catch same odds.
There are solutions like smartbets.io or something like that hat where bots bet for you, but as I said this topic is too wide to cover all of this while lying at the pool.
If anyone has more questions, I will be happy to answer either here or PM

Hi, I’ve found that very interesting. Are you joining the group?
I play poker and I am very familiar with the concept of value betting but I didn’t know that was possible in sports betting.

Could you explain that better?

The tipsters are not professional gamblers if you ask me. They are trying to make a steady income flow from the tipster work they are doing in order divide the risk element of gambling.

If I knew that I would be getting X amount of money for sure and I can gamble with the rest I would have become someone known in betting world as well. Also betting is not the only way of gambling. You can't be "professional dice player", its pure luck, maybe poker but those people out grow bitcoin space and go into stuff like pokerstars.

a part of them yes , they aren't professional and they aren't even porfitable sometimes so they do what they do just to have some referrals or get a fixed income from newbies
but that doesn't mean that all tipsters are like this , there are several professional ones that make a living by just betting
All are not gamblers but almost all are gamblers of their accent besides which few others are just analysts with the knowledge of gambling so both of these gamblers are available here on the forum to tell you and discuss with you different gambling strategies and basic knowledge regarding casinos games and sports betting as well. You will not feel any mistake here but opinions of different gamblers from which you can learn.

I think that every person who play gambling regularly, they become professional, no matter that either they are making money from there or not, but it is for sure that they have become expert in gambling because of the reason that they are playing gambling for a long long time.
