Depends on what your goal is and what amount. But a good rule of thumb is any wallet that lets you store your private key (and shows it to you if you request it, optimally under some sort of password for extra security), the best bitcoin wallets will have you download the entire bitcoin blockchain (100gb+), I personally use Electrum, which is basically the same as the aforementioned wallets BUT you don't have to download the entire blockchain which makes it a pretty portable solution.

DO NOT EVER STORE LARGE AMOUNTS OF BITCOINS IN ANY EXCHANGE / ONLINE WALLET, that's a very very bad idea. I don't know why the first poster said that, but please disregard it.

My only suggestion is Wallet that you hold the private key. Because you only have the accces here. What you have to keep is that no one knows your private key so you should keep it good.

We are planning to hold for long term is using hard wallet. Many different type hard wallet right now and we can choose one to store our bitcoin. Hard wallet more safe because we control it.

the best long place wallet to save your bitcoin is on Luno which i have found as one of the safest place to store my btc and my ETH because they are one of the best security conscious wallet. they have 2 factor authenticator and you can still go further by adding an sms verification on it. so i think it is the best place to store your bitcoin.

i believe a bitcoin wallet or its application wallet on a mobile phone is indeed a safe place instead of the recent developed wallets by ICO projects as they have some degree of bug and can be hacked, also exchangers can be hacked as we have heard of loads of them been hacked lately.

any hardware wallet like ledger and trezor would be the best for a long time holding of bitcoin. Any expert would recommend it. Don't use any software wallets if you plan to hold your bitcoin for a long time.
