It's not a new thing, btc scamming businesses and fake btc giveaways are popping up every year.  just a bit of advice is not to trust 100% of projects or anything that offers big bonuses or anything else that doesn't make sense.

Even in the event that an attacker gains more than 50% of the network's computational power, only transactions sent by the attacker could be reversed or double-spent. The network would not be destroyed.

Scammers will not miss an opportunity to commit fraud in any way, especially now that Bitcoin's popularity is increasing. So many newcomers join
the crypto world, who don't have the knowledge and experience in the crypto world. These newcomers will be prime targets for scammers, as they
will be more easily tempted by unreasonable offers. So I agree with you, that Bitcoin scamming business is popping up a lot, indeed we should not
be too trusting 100% that promises something excessive and unreasonable. Because after all making a profit from Bitcoin requires a process and
cannot get rich instantly.

Government Giveaways? do people believe that any of their Governments outside El Salvador's Government  Grin will actually be doing any cryptocurrency giveaway? I believe they are the ones that are actually setting themselves up to be scammed. On the other hand with regards to other forms of scam especially with some crappy exchanges, that's on another level.
