I think the good news will come to those who hold the altcoin in January 2019. Like last year, whales will sell their entire Bitcoin property and buy altcoin. But I suspect that the price of Bitcoin and altcoin will be difficult to increase if the ETF not accepted

Agree with your comments. Whales are the only ones that can cause the price of the market to rise or fall. Hoping that they still want to push up the price of the market by the end of this year. Thanks to the whale, Bitcoin's price has risen to $ 20,000 at the end of last year

Most of them will. But I see some green bars here and there and holders of those coins will make a fortune right now if Bitcoin moons again. There is a great expectancy for bitcoin right now and it may become soon.

Hm let me think, I suppose the altcoin behavior starts to resemble the old one, before the December-January rally this winter. It was when Bitcoin rises alts go down, when BTC falls - alts do the same way and probably when Bitcoin flats it makes Alts rise. We'll see.

Seems to me like people are doing their bets on bitcoin rise, maybe it has something to do with that etf decision that is coming soon in august. So people are exchanging alts to btc. Thats my guess

Seems like it is,because if we will check the dominatiom bitcoins doinin market,you'll find the 45.3% dominance over all altcoins,this is to high even when the great pump happened last December 2017 ,so maybe its the ETF whos the investors betting to bitcoin

But i believe efter this event altcoins will recover and the market will be balanced again not like now looks to bias to bitcoins

And the only thing I want, is that bitcoin is now falling back to 6.000, so that people would finally understand that the market of crypto-currencies - does not consist from only bitcoin. And it's silly to talk about decentralization, a free market, and lack of dependence, when the price of just one coin is able to crush down the entire market.

What I certainly didn't want, so that the price of bitcoin fell to $ 6000, this will further affect the price of altcoins. Their price will fall even lower.

maybe its normal, thats how the market goes. or maybe people who holdl atlcoin sold it to buy bitcoin because they knew that bitcoin is starting to rise from $6k to 7$. But we should not be worry about this altcoins for sure it will recover from its price when bitcoin gets pumped again.as we know some altcoins follow only in bitcoins price when it gets pump the altcoin also got pump. if you hold some altcoin maybe you should hold it to avoid losses.

that is how the market goes. Dont worry too much if you are holding good coin such as ethereum or NEo. HOwever, if you are holding shit coin, everything can happen to you. It can increase up to the moon or go down without any brake. Therefore, If you are not a risk taker, just find some good coins and put your money in. Dont risk your life too much

Well I'm not, I'm only risking %5-10 of my portfolio at all, but some serious altcoins like waves, verge, wanchain are going down too

then you are remembering things wrong!
maybe you should go back and check the charts again. there was nothing different then compared to other times. ETF hype grew so bitcoin price went up that meant altcoins got dumped.
then ETF was rejected so the hype went away and bitcoin dropped, and that meant altcoins got dumped hard.

what is new about this? nothing. it is the same thing that always happens. "money" doesn't go from bitcoin to altcoins or vice versa. it is bitcoin that goes into altcoins so that it can be increased when they get pumped. and then it is bitcoin that is being pulled out of altcoin market when people want to participate in the rises and falls of bitcoin which means altcoin get dumped. but when bitcoin is pulled out of altcoin market or goes back in the price of bitcoin versus USD  doesn't change because you are not pulling USD out or in. you are pulling BTC out and in.

Basically the same thing that goes on when the market is bearish or BTC is having a tantrum. Alts always suffer during times like these, so it's pretty risky to invest in alts. But I still do, and I'm sure a lot of you do too.

When BTC undergoes a sudden pump, altcoins dump a bit because money starts flowing towards BTC. But in some days, altcoins too follow the suite. People start getting in altcs as well because when BTC sustain the pump, it could be a start of bullish cycle and people take this as a positive news which reflects in the price. This is how usually the market reacts. Don't worry! altcoins will move along BTC.

It's not time for the alt coins just yet.  They lag behind Bitcoin at first when the new up cycle begins.  With such a huge down period this make take a bit of time as everyone gets back into the water.  Alts will explode higher once bitcoin reaches it new intermediate high and stabilizes.
