Big warning to crypto community on astroturfing hype

I am not agree with this because peoples are investing on bitcoin and earring profit from this site. They are also satisfied about bitcoin. So why bitcoin face warning i can’t understand.

I would suggest you to come up with proof that supports your claim. Accusing someone does not prove their crime rather you need to show on what basis you are claiming these.

Everybody are posting on the Bitcoin forum is meaningful and practical, not spam, so you should not think negatively. This is a great way to get people involved in the campaign and get a good reward. Discussion for personal idea to contribute promotion of an open project without having to spend much money on TV advertising.

The following has come to my attention:

-Someone in a youtube comment mentioned that bitcointalk is full of third worlders who post gibberish replies in threads in order to gain post counts but I'm afraid that it's worse than that. I believe it is fully automated forum bots that is operated by either governments or wealthy private citizens or possibly criminal enterprises. In my own thread, Burianchain, several mysterious nonsensical replies followed after my post and I am now sure that it is bots.

-The very same bot networks are used to leverage pump and dumps on exchanges and create social media fomo. My experience on an exchange where the Museum Token is trading is that they suffer constant fraudulent account registrations and voting fraud.

-I recently registered on one of the biggest freelance sites as a freelancer to do some charitable work for the crypto community and while scrolling through job listings it is full of offers like "i need 300 professional linkedin accounts that can bypass telephone registration".

So the takeaway here is be very mindful that there is large scale, possibly government scale, astroturfing going on in this forum and on prolific social media sites such as linkedin.

Of course this is not a new phenomena with bought followers and so on, but it is quite sophisticated and deeply deceptive.

I am aware that counter measures are in production to verify online activity.

Be mindful.

If you create threads in this forum, it would be nice if you give a refferensin link to be read by everyone.
Because everyone also wants to see the real evidence that you say.

Maybe there are also BOTs that can comment but before I have never heard of it.

Ha-hha! So funny conspiracy theory, I don't think that we all are bots, yet they are many of them but they are just posting a reports in the Bounty threads. Bots can post only the message that were already written in it.

you have a point and it could be true, but the idea could be happenning also in some other areas or groups or denomination not only in bitcoin, so if this could happen everywhere i dont see any difference nor issues of concern.

First of all it seems like a fairy tale because you don't have any prove of it. We can not believe in this kind of prediction because future is unpredictable.

You will have to be the biggest idiot in the world if you cannot spot automated bot responses from actual human interaction on this platform and also on other platforms.   On this forum, 4 countermeasures are deployed to counter bots.

1. Report button - Requires members to report non-human contributions.
2. Merit system - Reward system to improve post quality.
3. Human moderators - The local law enforcement and bot clean-up crew.
4. Captha at login - automated bot counter measure.

Why would this forum go through all this trouble to improve post quality, if they wanted bots to promote Bitcoin? Take off the Tinfoil hat and enjoy this bot free environment.

I am from one of the country so-called Third World countries.  I am not a bot.  What's wrong with us?  Third worlders, that term is very insulting.  We are civilized, maybe bad English but at least we understand your language.  Do you understand our language?
