I would like to see an immediate fake out to somewhere between $6,050 and $6,200 and then an immediate pump to $7,500, even though I have set up my buy and sell orders in such a way (and also accumulated a sufficient quantity of BTC) that I don't really mind a variety of continued playing around of the BTC price.. and even stagnation is o.k.

It would be a bit bothersome if $8,400 ends up being the "winning" prediction for the end of the year ATH in this game, yet it would be no where close to the end of the word for bitcoin.

In the other price direction, of course, there seems to be ongoing pressures to wean out some additional froth in the altcoin space, which likely has some ongoing dragging effect on bitcoin's price confidence, too.  Whether crypto bears are ready, willing and able to continue to wean out additional altcoin froth remains the $million question, and seemingly the next weeks remain critical to find out whether the touted BAKKT BTC financialization offerings are going to cause additional demand pressures on bitcoin that would assist in an upwardly directed BTC price breakout?

I really don't see a doubling happening in less than a month in the middle of a bear market no matter if we have already seen the bottom or not.

It's hard to predict of how far Bitcoin will reach this month or before year ends. Its current price is at 4k which is at low range. However, I believe that there will still be a slight movement higher with its price by the end of the year, figure would probably be 5-6k. It's not that easy to conclude since market may surprise us at times, but with my own observation, it's hard for it to recover that fast for only within a month. Speculations may or may not be true but what's important is that we keep our firm faith and whatever happens, can either be good or bad, we must learn to accept it, learn from it and move on with humility and by not losing hope.

>20x my money for that bet, I think its more probable then that but really with Dollar index going sideways (not down as many thought) you might be right.    The mainstream markets might be quiet heading into the end of the year (and sometimes are quite volatile come early Jan) but BTC is global and never stops trading and we can at least spike upwards for a week.   Dont have to speculate on a stable high but I dont think 9k or more is some impossible target, just for the simple reason BTC can be volatile and reactionary to a greater excess then other commodities.

    I guess it would have to come with some news or factor not expected, but sure its possible or more probable then that imo.   Someone who has futures pricing could see if they give a cheaper premium then 5% for 9k, I would not guess they sell that option so cheaply

22 days left to the end of 2018? Yeah, I'd say current leader/winner should prepare an address. The way I'm seeing it, only your other bottom caller thread will still have action in these 3 weeks. Volumes thinning out now it seems so I think even if we see BTC touch or go below 3k, it's not going to last long. Then again, what does Bitcoin usually do when everyone thinks it's going down?
