Every mistake has its lessons. When you make a mistake, there are three things you should do: admit it, learn from it and do not repeat it.
Ever since i had been in this space, i have only been used to bitcoin, ethereum, NEO, waves, tokens that use their platform and some other very common coins, but just this week was my first time of transacting fully on XLM platform.
I got a token that uses the platform of Stellar (XLM) and i was able to trade the token into XLM on their decentralized exchange.
My mistake came in when i was about to transfer the XLM, to be traded into BTC on another exchange.
I thought the process of transfer would be the one i had been used to, not knowing that i was supposed to include a "MEMO".
I eventually transferred it, waited for hour, but found nothing.
I was bothered.
It was in that process i got to know that memo was to be included. That was my mistake.
I admitted i had made the mistake.
The lesson i learnt is to always study every thing first (both new and old, because old things can still change), before jumping into it.
This mistake i have made up my mind to never repeat again.

I AM SHARING THIS FOR YOU TO LEARN FROM MY MISTAKES AND FROM YOURS.

Thanks for your audience.

Its sucks dude, i also got the same experience like you when i want transfer XLM to an exchange. I forgot the memo too, luckly it's only a small amount. Mistake like that is a bit common though on XLM users, people sometimes forget about the memo. I have a friend that also missed the memo and lost around $1k. Lesson learned though, just keep it remember on your head from now.

Use setbacks to your advantage. Not even the greatest investors in history are immune from making mistakes. Experience is the best teacher. Invest only what you can afford to lose is the cardinal rule in cryptocurrency. Learn from other people’s mistakes.  Cheesy

good or bad experience can be a valuable lesson material to be able to add knowledge in the crypto world. Crypto currencies always provide an interesting experience from either trading or bounty campaigns.

My slip-up was not to purchase an expansive amount of NEO, I purchased a considerable measure of different altcoins, which are then sold one of them was the EOS, I was frustrated in the undertaking, and in seven days it has become firmly, has now chosen to completely trust and not to offer them.

Investment training should be very long and very slow because people need to learn how to invest correctly, people should learn how to properly analyze the project. That's why I talked about the long training.

This is excellent advice because without errors we will never gain experience in the field of crypto currency. This law is valid in all areas of work!
It`s necessary to have basic knowledge, and it`s also necessary to have experience that is built on trials and mistakes!

i agree to your words. i know that a lot of people really doing all the newbie mistakes and that is really not rare. But if all the newbies can learn from their mistakes like what you are talking about. the market can be able to stabilize because a lot of people are smarter.

Sometimes learning from your mistake will make you tough to face enough of the obstacles that you are encountering. This is an old saying but for me, the experience is your best teacher, this part will probably give you strength to learn more and surpass your limits. Do not enter into a situation wherein you did not know the consequences that you will be facing, it will be lessen the risk if you will study the market itself.

Yes, everyone will make mistakes. We really should learn from our mistakes. We must not make mistakes in cryptocurrencies. We must not be emotional. We must abide by the rules. We must remain calm and rational and avoid making mistakes again.

Thank you for your analysis. Every one of us makes mistakes. It is not terrible to make mistakes. What is terrible is that you know nothing and make mistakes unconsciously. If you can learn the lesson, the next time you avoid this situation, then I think it is a good thing.

As they say: "learn from mistakes", it is best to learn from other people's mistakes, but you can not to escape from yours own mistakes and only they accumulate our experience.
