Technically speaking, you're not really buying anything:

Quote
At this stage, customers will only be able to buy and sell interests in cryptocurrency and will not be able to transfer their cryptocurrency holding to other Skrill customers or use it to transact with merchants. This service will be added in the future.

So unless the ability of withdrawing your funds is added, we shouldn't be that excited.

It should be added in the futur ... it's the first step for that.

Regarding the number of users and merchants around it, it will be only benifical for Bitcoin !

In 2011 only, the company's customer base reached 25 million, including 120,000 merchant accounts, what about 2018 !

We have already a skrill in bitcointalk.org forum and you can find itheir services is good acting as a third party and they eventually reply after inquiries. Just a matter of minutes if both parties will going to cooperate in any manner the definitely payment will going to proceed. You can browse here in this forum for the skrill transactions it is being moderated by one of the MODZ here in the forum so that you can have a high trust during the transactions.

The minimum withdrawal amount that you can withdraw via Skrill is 10.00 USD equivalent and the maximum withdrawal amount is 10000.00 USD equivalent, so this is a little bit restrictive, but on the plus side, we might get loads of new Bitcoin users and the exposure to more popular mainstream platforms that accepts Bitcoin.

People are more likely to "adopt" Bitcoin, if it is being supported by the more mainstream platforms.  Wink
