I suppose the price result in the following couple of weeks until this ETF nonsense is over will determine the price but I still don't expect a big price rise this year but at the same time I am expecting a solid price rise but a slower one which can bring us back to approximately $10k this year. (I also hope that my speculation is correct because personally I consider $25k in 5 months a bubble at this point and bubbles don't end well). OP, your time frame is so short. I believe you should be asking what will the price of Bitcoin be a few months before, during and after the halving. My answer would be "6 figures" or near it.  considering halving is in 2020 I'd say 6 figures is nothing. we will see at least something very close to $100k by the end of 2019. possibly somewhere around $70-$90k and the halving itself will be a big rise this time because the first time we saw a big rise, the second time people were denying it but we had a big rise, but the third time which is 2020 people won't deny it anymore and will jump on board and the rise would be even bigger. Yes, 6 figures - $100,000, or near it. Plus I have the same forecast as yours in $70,000 to $90,000 per Bitcoin. I believe most of the users in the forum do not fully understand what Bitcoin is and its potential as a decentralized, censorship resistant network that's independent from the state and the banking system. I hope they will before 2020. Hahaha. |

My prediction is far different from what others feel about the bitcoin price in the next few months. I do believe that bitcoin will collapse again at the 9700usd rate. Then I expect Bitcoin to go down to $4k to $3k.. Then a couple of up and downs. In the next few years we could see Bitcoin at $25000
Everyone is entiltled to their own opinion but for me your prediction isn't going to happen. Even bad news will occur again in the upcoming months. Pretty sure price won't go low as $3k. Many have predicted it in the last fall that we're going into less than $5k but look where are we now. |

I'm not sure about that, reach $25,000 is possible but i'm not sure it will hit in the end of the year. Especially with the condition of the current market right now. The good news is bitcoin price almost hit $8k today, it's $7,975 right now and to reach $25k is a long journey. We are not even hit $10k right now. |

As far now the price of bitcoin increased to $8000 but I don't think it will hit $25K if the growth level continues like these.But still anything can be possible the conditions may change over night so if you think the price will will hit $25K before end of this year then buy more coins as you can when the price is cheaper. |

Crypto market is unpredictable and if we could get a good rally to push the price to $10k it may rise to $15k then a big possibility that we can reach $25k for year end but if this bearish will continue then we will stay at what we are now until the year end. |

That is interesting. What index do you use to speculate? What I think is that there is great possibility for Bitcoin to reach and cross the $15000 value till the end of the year. Some experts speculate high value for Bitcoin and some over optimistic go beyond the $30000 as well. But no matter what the price will be, the technology is outstanding and it has a great future so in my opinion, everyone should invest in Bitcoin and it will pay off at some point in future. |

There is a huge chance for bitcoins to reach $25k dollars or even surpass its previous highest cap last year because there are more investors today in other countries who are legalized in cryptocurrency. |

If this bitcoin ETF which everyone is talking it will rocket BTC to the 30-50k levels it is possible to reach much higher but in second view there can happen nothing and we will have bear market to 2020 BTC halving

Obviously, It is possible on end of the year because many positive results are comes in the market so this will going to moon in next month. This year many investors are loose the hope but again everyone investing in Bitcoin. It is just a starting level of Bitcoin hype so we should wait for two more months this will reach more 15k USD and end of the year more than 25k USD is possible.

I think in this year bitcoin will not reach $ 25,000 because the market is so volatile this year, I think in this year bitcoin is worth $ 10,000 - $ 12,000. |

This possibility is very small. 2018 should be the year when the price of BTC will continue to adjust. When the price of BTC actually rises, it should be from the end of 2019 to 2020.

Don't see any sign of the price going above $25,000 within the end of the year. With ETF, we had some hope that the price will exceed $10,000 (ETF proposal caused the price to go above $8,300) within few weeks. But the proposal was declined which also caused a declining of the price falling below $7,800. But somehow the bulls were able to take control of the price and went back above $8,100. Right now we don't see any reason for the price to go further above.

I'm not sure about that, reach $25,000 is possible but i'm not sure it will hit in the end of the year. Especially with the condition of the current market right now. The good news is bitcoin price almost hit $8k today, it's $7,975 right now and to reach $25k is a long journey. We are not even hit $10k right now. Hype is hype and it can definitely make the price of something to skyrocket. When we reached the price of $20K per bitcoin, months ago, some guy was probably like "Look at the price of bitcoin, it's not even $1K. It's totally impossible for it to reach that price IMO." But right now, we're at $8K. Old me probably wouldn't think that we will reach this price in just a span of a year. All of my bitcoins are at 10x value now when I first got them. The ETF being accepted will hype the market but we're probably not going to stay as high. The hype will eventually come down. The point in here though is that ETF will greatly help us to have mass adoption. It will shorten the process a lot. And with mass adoption, comes great price increase. The halving is also fast approaching, 2020, which I think will be our best bet for price increase. I'm not really expecting ETF proposal to get accepted.
If EFT is accepted. I believe Bitcoin will easily get $ 25k or more by the end of the year. Let's wait for a decision from EFT
It's ETF. ETF is not an institution or an entity and the decision will come from the SEC. |

that was another ETF that was declined (the Winklevoss brothers ETF) which is different from this hyped up ETF that is upcoming and is not yet decided. this one is proposed by SolidX and another one that i have forgotten. if these hyped up ones were rejected then price would have seen a bigger drop. and regarding that last statement, there are a lot of reasons for the price to go up but they are all forgotten because people have been blinded by the ETF hype! |

You say the coin will reach up to $ 25,000. I do not think up to $ 25,000. I thought maybe it would reach $ 20,000. Because the increase will change little by little. Many predict the end of the year there will be a temporary pump. |

Since there is now a main driver steering the wheel from behind, (Bitcoin ETF), it might be possible to get to $25K, but it has to be approved by the SEC first. But a subsequent withdrawal would mean that we won't and the best price that we might possible hit is around $10K. So need to wait and see next month if it would be approved and then we will be a good price jump. So its going to be exciting next month and I'm sure that everyone is glued to their sit watching for that critical news.

I think that with a good set of circumstances, bitcoin can grow in price to about $ 20,000. I do not think that he will cross this line of his previous price record this year. Many will already be afraid to invest at this time, so as not to repeat the situation last year. In my own opinion, there is a possibility that it will reach $25k dollar before the year ends but do not have so much hope since the market's volatility can also make the price of bitcoins to dump. Yes possibalities is always there, I also think that the price can reach to that price before the end of 2018, but I think that it is not so easy, because still bitcoin price is trading below 10000$, therefore currently its look like difficult but still the possibility is there and we can see the bitcoin price trading above 20000$ at the end of 2018. |
