Hello,

I am working slowly on the users suggested by LoyceV.

I really don´t think reporting "good project" posts is effect.

Look at this one page for example:
https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=4611692.msg42320990#msg42320990

On this page, all single post is "good project" or "great project" with small variations.

However, this thread has 153 pages of "good project" posts. All pages are just that.
If you want to get 300 reports, this is the best place lol

Reporting every single post is useless. Banning every single user is also useless, because spammers can create a new account for free.
He is probably receiving money to post, so he will create all accounts that are necessary.

ULTRIX COIN PLATAFORM ANN is just spam and bumping.

However, if we a moderator delete this ANN, those spammers could do that on competitors to have their ANN removed also.

Maybe a solution would be to prevent Newbies and Jr. from posting more than once a week in ANN board? But this could flood other boards of the forum...

I don't see a solution for this situation now. I will keep reporting and see if what else comes up...

Yeah, it's too hard to clean the forum from spammers while they can still generate new accounts. We're going to report it and Moderators will ban it and what's next? These Newbie spammers will only create new accounts and post "Good project" again. I just noticed that most of these spammers posting "Good project" were Newbies with 1 to 10 posts and was recently created, i think ANN thread and bounty managers are behind to all of this.

If we could just disable the registration of account in this forum while we are cleaning, maybe we can lessen these spammers, somehow.

About limiting Newbie's post. How about if Newbies without a copper membership can only posts 3 posts per day (is it too much?) and copper Newbies can post regularly.

A lot of the time these types of threads that are subject to these kinds of posts, and activity are offering an incentive to post. This can sometimes be difficult to find out as several projects put this behind a registration now. However, anyone that finds threads offering an incentive to post, and can provide as much detail as possible will earn my respect.

Not always though. If I can't find any evidence of it then I'll just remove the posts individually.

Great idea, you'll receive merit from me for joining this club, I wish we could have some help from the admin to provide the report stats of people joining here and then merit sources could give one merit for every 300 accurate reports of the members of this club.

We could update our report stats everytime we have already reported 300 good reports and receive 1 merit for our update, I'm suggesting this to encourage lower rank members to join this stripe porn club lol and help the moderators.

I found one.
I am in doubt if this kind of thread is or not allowed. It´s not only "Good project", as they also paste their telegram... In my opinion its just spam, but I am not sure what does the moderators think about that.

Bad attempt of "homograph" attack Cheesy

Quote
1. @ LoyceV, all the lists should be send in PMs and I'll be the only one to post them here to avoid the double work.
Is email okay with you too? PM is limited at 64000 characters, and if you're going to sort them out anyway, it's easier for me to email them. The lists will still be in BBcode format, so easy to paste into a forum post.
Alternatve: something like pastebin, but that one is still restricted to 500 kB.

Maybe, better idea is to organize a google spreadsheet.
Many people /club staff members/ can edit it simultaneously, easy to maintain a database but there are some limitations >
Quote
Each Google Spreadsheet has a limit of 400,000 cells, with a maximum of 256 columns per sheet. There are also other limitations:

Number of Formulas: 40,000 cells containing formulas
Number of Tabs: 200 sheets per workbook
GoogleFinance formulas: 1,000 GoogleFinance formulas
GoogleLookup formulas: 1,000 GoogleLookup formulas
ImportRange formulas: 50 cross-workbook reference formulas
ImportData, ImportHtml, ImportFeed, or ImportXml formulas: 50 functions for external data

I think we are good to go with it.
I'll test it with some lists and see how it is.

Cases - Updated.
Some good news are coming soon, but I won't reveal anything until is officially announced Smiley

Thank you man...  Smiley

I really don´t think reporting "good project" posts is effect.
That's the reason why I haven't reported these kind of posts. I am sure my report history which consisted of around 350 reports didn't have even a single "Good Project" post. It's literally a waste of time for us reporting these posts and the mods handling these reports. At some times the mods would even get annoyed with these reports. A spambot is created for the sole purpose of just posting  "Good/Great Project" and bumping up their thread to the top. Anyways I will start my work from today or most probably tomorrow in reporting the users. Deleting the whole ANN would just delete all the newbies spams in one go.

It's really frustrating to see these spambots posting now and then and bumping those scam ICO's ANN Threads.  Angry

I won't get annoyed if you do report them individually. Although, I would say try, and check whether they are offering an incentive to post. Sometimes though its not certain that the thread owner is behind it because they post it on external sites, and you can't 100% verify that its them behind it, and not a competitor. Under this situation I would just remove the spam comments.

Alternatively, just report one, and say something like "more of the same". I'll take a look at the other comments when I have spare time then.

I am not sure if some posts are allowed or not.

For example
https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=4571232.0

This thread asks for posts with telegram usernames.

-snip-
Submit your telegram handle in the comment section in the format given below.
Code:
Telegram username

So, they have 122 pages of this

Telegram username: @bablu048

Is this a situation to delete the whole thread?

I think they should use some other database to store their telegram usernames, such as google forms...
This should not be allowed, but I am not sure.

These two other are the same situation:

I guess it isn't allowed.

Incentivizing posting within one or several threads via low effort tasks (e.g. signups or proof of participation for liking, following, subscribing, retweeting, tweeting a single tweet, joining a channel or group, etc.) is not allowed as it falls under the "no altcoin giveaways" rule (https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=2103687.0):
