There are several different types of Bitcoin clients. The most secure are full nodes like Bitcoin Core, which will follow the rules of the network no matter what miners do. Even if every miner decided to create 1000 bitcoins per block, full nodes would stick to the rules and reject those blocks.

Thanks for your opinion but I still think that is better to open your own thread if you report a lot. Sometimes I need a lot of time to scroll my post history when I am looking for something. If I have my own thread I just bookmark it and can access in a second. Of course, don't want to create duplicate threads but I see a multiple reports topics.

This ANN thread is mostly bounty reports, which is a bannable offense:

https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=4504427

I reported a bunch of posts, including with a plea to just trash the thread but it's still up... so feel free to report that shit.

@wwzsocki

The thread I pointed out was a dedicated thread for reporting Plagiarisms. I don't really see any problem if you post it on your own list and use it as reference when you report. I have one of my own after I discuss with mprep what was the best way to report accounts, but I'm not using in anymore since the ban of shitposters is much easier now and it takes only one comment in the report field and no need to have proof.

@suchmoon

Good find, I'll report some of those too and i'll try get the ANN trashed.

@Lafu

If you need a list of all the users in a thread, LoyceV is the man, he has the script to list them in no time, so better ask him.
If you are looking for a specific keyword I can list all the accounts who used it. In general I can list everything from the search results.

Good, I'll update the OP tomorrow.
When we finish with the current open tasks I think we'll have to focus on the campaign managers, and start making list with those who allow spam.
This was discussed already in the Meta and will be more efficient way to fight the spam, maybe.
If you are willing to do so, while you're reporting shitposters you have to note which signature campaign they are into.

I'll try to come with a report template tomorrow.
Any suggestions are welcome.

New Bot Messages i guess !

Doing some events in a particular place is a great thing to do in order the this idea will become more popular and also can attract new investors who is very interesting to invest in the said business. It'sa great promotion to the idea because many will join and become curious about it. I am very confident that it will be more successful.

If make the pre-sale period longer would boost the interest as sometimes when presale periods are long, interest slowly drops as lot of people can not afford to invest sums needed during presale.Good partnerships keep people interested and focused on project.

It's easier to report them only for plagiarism, so they get banned directly, instead of removing only the posts.
I'll do it if the comments are not deleted yet.

I lately got to the conclusion that not everything is done here to ban accounts, I have been reporting plenty of posts lately and was expecting the users to be banned for incredibly low quality posting, however I put some of these users in my bookmarks, not only the posts remained but the users kept spreading their 1-line post in the Alt and Bitcoin section. Forgot which user here was recently saying that too many bans would decrease the traffic of the website (and therefore the revenues) was probably right after all.

I don't know about the rest of the crowd here but for me the ban is the best solution, lately after reading some of the comments of one of the global mods hilariousandco seems like even banning shitposters is not effective anymore as they just come with a new account. We need a new, more global strategy to fight the spam without bothering theymos as he is has quite a lot on his head already. So one approach is to focus on the bounty managers, those who should control the spam in the first place.

I don't think people really care about the site's traffic as till now the biggest part is generated by shitposters and big part of the investors already has turned their backs because of the mess and scamming, that's just my personal opinion.

Edited due to a wrong quote.

This is full of plagiarism (or bots reposting the same shit over and over):

https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=4857606.200

I've been trying to report but mods seem to be reluctant to nuke the accounts. What's worse, they don't delete the posts so I might be reporting banned users for all I know. If someone has a better way of doing this please take a look at that thread.

I notice many usernames like "gegfdvxvxc1, nmgfsdnfgwjio, njklhwioa, dfwafgdge, ghfgdasfaw, jmkljioew, fqhuqryfhjq11, klgeroghei, hujgubgfgs". Any serious user who joins a forum would at least create a normal name, not something that instantly shows they don't care about the forum. My guess is this is what happens when account farmers have created so many accounts that they ran out of ideas.

Feel free to request other threads to be checked this way, it doesn't take much of my time. I wait one second between checking each page, to reduce server load. That means checking a big thread can take an hour.

Yeah, I can normally tell just by looking at the name if they are a bumping bot or not. Its normally gibberish or a first name, and second name combined. Sometimes with a space. Its painfully obvious, but I guess they don't actually care what the username is, because they usually get banned whenever found. Unfortunately its just too easy to create accounts here.

User: suchmoon
Case: Haiku Bots part 5 (impeccably)
From/to: 1-200
Status: Working...

User: suchmoon
Case: WEALTH.SILO thread user list
From/to: 101-143 Done
From/to: 81-100 Working...

Lots of plagiarism, some homographs too.

A couple of other threads where this shitbotgang likes to hang out:

QUICK: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=4831485
ANK: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=4847674
OPTHERIUM: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=3465160
SECURIX: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=4744419

Not sure what's the best approach here. Perhaps we should complete reporting on the WEALTH.SILO thread, wait for it to be processed by mods, and then check if there are any other (not yet banned) copypasta accounts in the other two threads.
