Just report his post next time. No need to create a new thread for every rule breaker.

I don't really see his comment as spamming, he really gave useful information about the project before dropping a link (though it was his ref link) through which you can read more about the project.

Question wasn't about spam. He had break the rules.  Everyone allow to share useful information, it doesn't mean he is allow to share referral link. There is much different with project link and referral link.
