Even in the event that an attacker gains more than 50% of the network's computational power, only transactions sent by the attacker could be reversed or double-spent. The network would not be destroyed.

The State Bank of Vietnam (SBV) believes that there should be a ban on mining in the country.

In October last year, SBV stated that cryptographic storage is not a legal payment, and if the people of Vietnam decide to use it, they may face prosecution.

Now the Ministry of Industry and Trade and the Treasury are dealing with an idea,
that there should be a ban on the import of equipment that will be mined in the country. Devices that are now "uncontrollable" approaching or already installed in the country, make it difficult for the government to regulate bitcoins and other digital currencies.

Officials believe that a ban on the import of mining equipment will further promote the protection of local consumers.

It's nice to see that somewhere there is progress with the adoption of crypto. many countries deliberately delay this process.

Any valid source for this article or whatever you wrote in the OP. Because with such big news there should have been lot of buzz by now and this buzz would have been creating upward spikes. Well none of that is happening yet and I guess we need to verify the link first and see what the article really says.

BY the way we have already crossed July 23rd and there is no pictures, and news about this ATM stuff and banks over the internet as well. Because such implementation would actually cause the market to move upwards. Need proofs to get excited about it.  Grin

That's a great achievement / advancement in the field of crypto currency. I have participated in 4 to 5 campaigns there were related to crypto bank or crypto loans. This is realisation of that projects. It will be helpful in creating awareness in general people about crypto currency and total capital will be increased in this arena.

If I amn't wrong, I have heared something similar was planned but can't remember if it was Bulgaria. Anyway it's great news, to my mind bitcoin ATMs must be in airports amd big city molls in every country, at least it will help a lot of people, especially tourists.

One Bitcoin ATM for more than 7,128 million people are surely not enough... right.  Roll Eyes  The Land of Roses must become more

famous and change their name to The Land of Bitcoin.  Cool  Just a interesting piece of information is that Bulgaria has the

fastest declining population in the world and I wonder why that is happening.  Huh Just glad to hear that Bitcoin is welcomed

in Balgaria too.  Grin

There has been a lot of support all around the world, its just under reported. We never know where the tide turns, but such items of news are always appreciated. Kudos to the country for this bold move, a huge step forward for all of us. Hope to see more such news in coming days!

This is really good news for Bulgaria and for the rest of the world moving forward! Having a country such as Bulgaria taking a huge leap forward and setting up a physical ATM related to cryptocurrency is a huge plus and can really help create a model for other banks and financial institutions in the future. However, the primary goal should be to focus on having already established institutions start creating cryptocurrency divisions to help develop the cryptocurrency market quickly. We can see this already starting to happen slowly with the introduction of Goldman Sachs’ plan to involve crypto in their platform. Hopefully we can also see more established institutions soon take up crypto.

This area is up for grabs! PM me if you're interested.

Good for Bulgaria and there are also some places that does have Bitcoin ATM but it wasn't reported by any media because they are paid and don't want to give the most accurate news worldwide.
In these type of news, what they only want to cover are the "experts" word on how the price of bitcoin is going down and what's the disappointment of most with the recent Winklevoss application rejection of ETF.

It was actually a good news if cryptocurrency is considered as a currency that can be used for money laundering like credit cards, it only means that the community of bitcoins is continuously growing.

That is a great news. They want to develop their country using the latest trend, which is cryptocurrencies. And i think this is such a good start and a good way to introduce people to cryptocurrency. That way, many people will curious and learn more about crypto. This could be a big break for other countries too.

This is what keeps me waiting for when my country will attend what other countries have done to cryptocurrency, as happened in Bulgaria right now.

With cryptobank and ATM cryptocurrency will make it easier for anyone who has a cryptocurrency like a tourist who comes to the destination country and exchange cryptocurrency against fiat money.

At least this will be a promotion also against other countries who want to visit our country as a place to be a vacation.
