My strategy is, I always want to stay in the safe zone in the case of investing and whenever I found that the market is not suitable I just stop investing.

the strategy used is usually, the purchase when the value of the coin decreases so that the value of the purchased coin will be cheap and sell when the value of the coin is rising, so it experiences many benefits. and get a lot of profits

I follow other technical analysts out there and also i am watching the boards overall sentiment.
Just set trend lines and support lines on the chart. For example, what i learnt today is that ETH had a pretty obvious sign (for shorting) at 290 mark, on horizontal and vertical support lines and resistances.

I think that this is a whale game that manipulates prices. Hopefully, friends here are not provoked into the panic when they see the crypto market is declining sharply.

Be patient that is best strategy that we can use, if you can wait one more year then you will undestand that.

Hodl , Waiting for the market to rebound is the best solution this time, low price is the right time for new investors to enter the market, recovery is premature, want a few days or weeks will result

I always sell my coins when it will get good price and buy some more even in low rate than before. That's my investment policy.

I am not a financial analyst and this is not financial advice

If you want to "invest", the only sane strategy is Dollar Cost Averaging (DCA):
https://www.investopedia.com/terms/d/dollarcostaveraging.asp

No one here really knows what is going to happen to the price, it may go up, it may go down.
All other coins pretty much follow BTC and will do so until they can be uncoupled.
You will drive yourself insane trying to guess, Technical Analysis in crypto is just a guess. You may get lucky, I usually do not.

I think that the price is unlikely to gain any new heights for 12-18 months... maybe not until past 2020 with a new ATH maybe in 2023.
But I want to accumulate more BTC in the meantime, mainly for fun and see where this project goes.
But I don't want to go mad trying to guess the lows and highs..... so DCA of $x per week works for me, disposable income ofcourse.

Also, I set my exit. If BTC reaches $y then I will sell half, when it reaches $z I will sell half again. It may never reach $y, but I don't really care.... it is not the only investment I have.

This way, I just sit back, relax, look at the price once a week. No stress and enjoy all the chat on reddit for fun.

PS.... I am not a financial analyst and this is not financial advice

As an Investor, you need to have investment strategy if you want to make money but it depends upon you whether you are in for a long term investment strategy or a short term investment strategy.

all of them really need a strategy, and if doing something without a strategy, moreover is investment, it can actually bring losses and investments in the long and short term do have different things

My investment strategy? This is what I'm doing, I'm just following my instinct for this. And then, I will invest my coin into it. And after the investment I got, same pattern. I'll invest again in some coins using my instinct and wait for it to boom.

My investment strategy is to be patient and keep on waiting. If the market is red, the price is low; the best I can do is to hold my coins and wait until the price increases.

I think now is a difficult time for traders, especially traders who do not have a good strategy, because the prices of bitcoin and altcoin continue to fall, and the increase is only a little, I think being a holder is not profitable, now I exchange my tokens or coins with bitcoin and ethereum, I am more confident in holding both, my strategy at this time is not buying when it's red and selling if I get a profit

These two coins really have great potential from other types of coins. if you are bothered to choose a coin that will invest then Bitcoin and Ethereum are the solution.

This is the first time I encounter a very long period bear market. Every prediction that I've read didn't happen. With this extended period of bear market, I think the best strategy is none other than to HODL until the market recovers. We have no choice but to hold. If you have extra money, you can buy your favorite coins with this cheap prices. Bitcoin and Ethereum are very cheap right now.

It must be understood that market conditions are dropping, and the best strategy now is to buy coins that have the potential to skyrocket, when recovered we will get a big profit, and after buying, of course the most important thing is to be patient.

Hello all.

Could you please share with us your current investment strategy so that everybody can learn from your good practices and overcome this tough time?

when the current price is not friendly we should not panic sell, just save it first. Usually I buy cheap and save it and when I sell it high, it's easy.
