The below politicians are accepting money in bitcoin in order to run for a government position and are accepting donations in bitcoin

1. Greg Abbott, Candidate for Governor, Texas
2. Bob Barr, Candidate for US Representative, Georgia
3. Paul Dietzel, Candidate for US Representative, Louisiana
4. Jared Polis, US Representative, Colorado
5. Gavin Newsom, Lieutenant Governor, California
6. Bryan Parker, Candidate for Mayor, Oakland, California
7. Steve Stockman, Candidate for Senator, Texas

What do you think about the future of bitcoin, looking at how these people are accepting bitcoin in order to raise money to run for an election

I really don't think that there is an impact in bitcoin by using it of politicians , because the politics in this world are always been dirty there is no way to clean it.

Where you got that list, any source?
They might take bitcoin donations to just get rid away of possible monitoring from government and this might also make them in favor of bitcoin adoption. They seem to attract votes and donation from crypto enthusiast who will hope for better government regulation and more adoption of crypto but if they will get elected they will make it even harder to exchange our bitcoin. Politicians can't be trusted... Grin

Blockchain technology is doing amazing things in the world currently. Highly beneficial projects are springing up through well-endowed developers in blockchain technology. However we need to be cautious how  bitcoin is used by people, especially politicians since most politicians can't be trusted.

I don't want to think this is bribe. It completely depends on the position if the law in the affected country because in some instances, people are allowed to donate money in support for a certain mission. This are usually done by supporters without expecting any compensation in return. If you call this bribe, you may have to substantiate your claim.

I think you should not use bribe word, because bribe have negative mean. Every politician must be accepting donation in any form including bitcoin as long they can liquidate it. Hopely when that politician elected, they can fight regulation for bitcoin and cryptocurrency
